With Mcfred in that midfield and Bruno that keeps losing possession, i don't see what will drastically change in that midfield unless you get someone close to the profile of Kroos & Modric to assist in that your Midfield

This is where i see major improvement and that is the defense, Case is known to put in more work there and i'm certain Maguire and that aki&pawpaw will enjoy greatly from that

Why destabilize a team for a mere €60+10m deal for the best CDM atm? Same €70m that was wasted on Jovic (who had to later leave for free) and Hazard (X2 of that amount).
Even if Casemiro is tempted to leave because of the salary offer, Perez ought to sit him down and reach a compromise.

We did it back in 2018 when Modric wanted to leave for Inter. Would Perez let go of Vini or Benzema should another club tempt them?

I just feel that Perez is trying to be too smart on this deal. Replace Case with a younger Tchouameni and continue the rebuilding phase. But I still feel we should have kept Case around for 1 or 2 more season before trying to cash out even if it's for peanuts. Case had a contract till 2025 so we had him in-check for 3 more seasons.

I just don't like the idea of destabilizing a winning team for money that we don't even really need. We had over €200m to spend this summer on the Mbappe saga so now that he didn't come, I expected us to strengthen our team for further UCL domination not weaken the team. This transfer window that was they promised us Mbappe, a solid RW attacker, Back-up ST, a new RB, ends up being a total failure. ATM this transfer window scores nothing more than a 3/10 for me.

P.S: We suffered the effect of Ronaldo leaving in the abysmal 2018/19 but managed to reach the 2016-18 heights just this past season (after 3 seasons of UCL mediocrity) so losing a key player harms a team no doubt.
