On the House of Reps probe on fuel subsidy....
Iam not convinced by the House of Reps outlandish report by Farouk Lawan Committee on Fuel subsidy scam as reviled of recent for obvious reasons.The House Reps was and still an avenue for high profile corrupt practices.It is true that there may be corruption in the management of fuel subsidy funds,but the House of Reps must win the confidence of the majority of the populace by purging itself of corrupt practices to fight corruption.With the outrageous allowances it offered its members amidst high poverty in the land and the whooping take in the national treasury in form of emergencies ,it is much to be desired of the House of Reps to come to terms with clean hands for any meaning interventionist mission.The whole episode sounds like a political gimmick to chase a ghoulish apocalypse.
