Unconfirmed news making the rounds has it that sultry Yoruba actress Mercy Aigbe’ husband Larry Gentry was detained for fraud. According to the rumour mills, Mercy Aigbe’s husband who is a top businessman was allegedly detained by the police in Abuja for being involved in a scam involving several millions of naira.


According to nigeriafilms.com the case has been on for a while now but Gentry’s first wife who is said to be a top police officer dissolved the matter before the news got out.
The website went on to report that things however took a different turn following Gentry’s marriage to Mercy Aigbe, the top actress and producer of the new wave making flick, “Osas”.

Mercy was alleged to have taken total control of Larry Gentry’s heart and home and made him dump his police officer wife.
Mercy has often told the press that she met Gentry unmarried before he wed her.
