Hi, How come when I'm looking for current information, it always gives me search results that are supposedly current but the last time someone posted on it was years ago or months. E.g I typed "NIPOST" in the Nairaland search box, I get results for "NIPOST: How Efficient Is It?" that gives me the impression the post is 1 week old (24 April 2012) , but you look at it and it's a 4 year old post. The last post on it was 1 year and 4 months ago. They all look current, but I have to waste time going through them one by one to get what I need. You folks are doing a great job, but please fix this bug. |

Noticed that too. Also the timing on posts have a bug. Some posts that were made years ago show they were made minutes ago. |

It's just a google search bug. They seem to think all pages on New Nairaland are new. Check the Topic numbers instead. |

Well since you've decided to drop the native search of the site in favor of Google's site search then you should think of fixing this bug. I understand the pain some people face. You see a search result written "2 days ago" you open it and its a 4 year old post. |
