Hi all. I am presently running a quotation to run a project with an indegenous firm, and I need to know how much a South African should be paid as a Chief Operating Officer in a Nigerian firm. Please if you have any idea as to what they are collecting, do share with me, as this clause is important in my project. I also do not want to run at a loss! Please treat as URGENT!!! PS: I am NOT a South African o! Thanks  |

You need to give more details aboutthe job function/industry.Ist it the Telecoms,Bank or Oil and Gas? |

@Lasun Thanks. The industry is actually new in the country. Its a theme park, something like Disneyland. The position is for C.O.O. Any ideas? |

@opiro2000 I believe u shud be looking in the neighbourhood of NGN500k/mnth or NGN5million/yr plus full benefits (A healthy welfare package e.g. car, House Loan, Maintenance allowance and all that). |

@poster does it mean no nigerian brain is good enough for your COO position or you just want to import fair skin? any way i wish you all the best but i think we have great talents in this country talking about pay surely u will not be paying him in NAIRA becaue he is an expartrate, so the amount will be in dollars well lucky u the price of dollar is crashing against other major currencies so that may be good for you in the short run , be look at $5 to $7000/month hey but seroiusly give ur nigerian folks a chance all the best wishes man |

@ndubest Sorry bro, if I had my way it would be a Nigerian. But this are specs you meet from time to time from organisations who think that we are not there yet. Anyways, thanks for the advice. |
