Do you tell lies?
Re: Most Difficult Interview Question by securethat: 8:21pm On Nov 22, 2007
The answers to your interview questions.

Do you tell lies?
The answer to this is always NNNOOOOOOOOOO, no, no and no again. Explain that you pride yourself on your honesty and integrity.

What do u think your current employer will say about you? be warned, they may call your current employer?

Goodness, this is frightening that a company you are applying to would even contemplate contacting your current employer. This puts your current job in jeopardy.
You may like to answer your current employer woulod say that you were Task Focused, diligent, fair, honest, reliable and well respected.

What strategy is operating in the company you are applying to?

Gosh, this is such a strange question. How are you expected to know this unless you know the internal workings of the organisation.
You may like to answer this one with something like this – the company an excellent mentoring strategy and a policy to promote internally and this is exactly the type of organisation I am looking to work for.

Have you ever been fired?

The answer should always, always, always be NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO, No and No again. If you were fired you can explain it as being Made Redundant. Admitting you were fired reflects very badly on you and it is highly unlikely any respectable employer will hire you after that.

Are you kidding?  You do not know these are psychological questions to see how real you are and how well you can take responsibilty for your actions?  Also to show how you have learned from your past mistakes? You should always say nooooooooooooooooo? You were made redundant?--Not when is is on record that you left under "unpleasant circumstances" and you have a string of "No Rehire" flags in all your past records! They will find out and ask you about it!  And you will be there moping like a boozoo!  Someone might just offload a whole load of dirt about you!

Telling lies just comes naturally for most of us!

Hmmmmm!  Anyway you can only get away with all that in Nigeria.  Before these ones here ask you one question-they already have your dosier in front of them.  You better 'fess up--even if you do not get the job--you remain honest in their eyes!  Nothing as depressing as being caught in a lie by potential employer, especially with all "our negative" 419 records!

In this age of post 9-11?  Everyone wants to make sure you did not bring a gun to work or you have anger management problems!

You are better off being truthful then explain the circumstances since people get fired all the time.  Even the person interviewing you has been fired too! They are looking for someone with intergrity and potentials for "Professional  Growth" not "spritually perfect" people on planet earth!  Especially if you are in a marketable field of employment and they are begging for workers.  You will call the shots!

Have you ever worked in human resources? shocked
