The specific configuration is required in order to evaluate its true retail value. Also, I am almost certain that it is brand new even though you didnt specifically mention that. Right?

It is perhaps comparable to the currently available dv6500t series. I didnt take the time to do a detailed comparism, but one thing that jumped at me was that it supports max 2GB ram (you probably dont need to go up to 4GB though). see specs for yourself below.

Again you need to provide the specs of that dv6536en in order to evaluate its retail value.

I just chatted with an HP rep in the US.

The dv6536en is a european model. The US equivalent model is the dv6500t (although as I earlier pointed out the dv6500t is upgradable to 4GB as opposed to 2GB for the dv6536en). There are probably other minor differences between the two.

yeah its important you tell us the specs so as to evaluate. but in anycase i got the hp dv6000 series for 169k in park and shop abuja through a monthly payment scheme that diamond bank was offering (don't know if its still on). i still beleive the 169k is on the high side but not complaining because of the convinience of monthly payback. however mine is a 1gb memory with 140g hard drive.serves me well.

Just curios. What is the full spec of this dv6000? i.e.
- processor/speed/cache
- bluetooth?, webcam? etc.
