Fellow Nigerians, it is time to wake up and admit that we need to do something differently to solve our infrastructure challenge. WE NEED TO BRING IN SKILLED JAPANESE, GERMANS, KOREANS AND CHINESE, PAY THEM GOOD MONEY TO TRAIN OUR UNDER GRADUATES AND UNEDUCATED YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN. Govt need to look at the list of items we import and encourage importer to liase with manufacturer abroad and bring manufacturing to Nigeria (like innoson) This will save depletion of foriegn exchange, create jobs and reduce crime. USA is still attracting foreign human capital along their line of shortage , so why not Nigeria
Truth is our " hand out selling lecturers " can not train graduates that will transform our economy and industry. And where are the skill aquisition centers to train millions of uneducated youth. Devil create job for idle hands. OUR NATIONAL DISCUSS SHOULD CENTER AROUN THINKING , ANALYSING AND HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEMS , rather than always talking about problems all the time.
Dangote, Globacom, banks, oil companies and other rich nigerians SHOULD SPEND MONEY ON INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY all the time, like dangling Bleep million dollar on who will improve bandwith capacity or transmission in a fiber optic cable, 1st Nigerian to fabricate a turbine, the best motor mechanic in nigeria, the best tailor. Our bad road/ power deficit are opportunities to create employment.
Lastly our newspapers need to train their staff on quality informative, educating and investigative journalism
Long live Nigerians and God bless our leaders and all Nigerians
