52’ – Foul on Umar, free kick to Nigeria round the centre circle
51’ – Gero is really battling away upfront but he needs more support to be effective.
50’ – GOAL! Nigeria 1 Ghana 1.
49’ – The game has come alive thanks to Agbo's goal.
48’ – Moments after Agbo's goal Ghana get a chance to draw level but again the final efort is off the mark.
47’ – Football can be a cruel game but then you also have to take your chances.
47’ – A ding dong affair so far but encouraging signals from Nigeria now.
47’ – GOAL! Nigeria 1 Ghana 0, Uche Agbo scores with a great header
46’ – The Flying Eagles attack but Ghana keep them out.
46’ – Nigeria restart the game.
1’ – A sweet shot from outside the box by Baba Rahman Abdul restores parity in this derby.

39’ – The only thing lacking about the Ghanaians is their finishing, they again cut through the Nigerian defence but the striker opted to dance his way to goal and Nigeria clear to safety somehow.
38’ – The clouds are gathering and it's not looking very bright for the Flying Eagles, who need to step up their game if they are to get anything out of this game.
37’ – Another corner to Ghana as the pressure piles up, the ball crashed against the Flying Eagles post and from the rebound a Ghana striker smashes his shot against the side netting.
36’ – Okani saves Nigeria yet again!....He tips a goal-bound shot by Safiu Abdul for a corner.
35’ – Mumini Abubakar's missile just misses target not by much as Ghana continue to torment Nigeria.
34’ – But Okani comes to the rescue for the Flying Eagles, who are really struggling to contain the more rampant Satellites.
33’ – Very close shave for Nigeria!...It should have been Ghana 1 Nigeria 0 by now.
32’ – Offside against Nigeria, at least the African champions are pushing forward now.
31’ – It appears he is being played out of position.
31’ – Nzube is working his socks off but the Ghanaians are enjoying more of the ball and the Flying Eagles concede yet another unnecessary corner.
31’ – Nigeria survive another Ghana onslaught.
30’ – Aluko is really struggling, a fan tells him 'Wake up man!'
30’ – After half an hour this West African derby has really not got going as Ezenwaka again tries his luck from distance.
29’ – Ghana continue to mount pressure from through the left side of the Flying eagles defence.
29’ – Better effort by Nigeria now but Ezenwaka's shot from distance is way off its target.
26’ – Hustling Gero is proving to be a handful for the Black Satellites but he needs support from the midfield to be effective.
25’ – The Flying Eagles need to settle down or they will regret it sooner rather than later.
24’ – It's really Ghana all the way...
24’ – Gero is stopped in his tracks as Nigeria try to attack their opponents again.
23’ – The Nigerian defence is struggling as Ghana continue to pile pressure after pressure.
22’ – Okani again to the rescue for Nigeria but the ball still rolls out from his grip for a corner.
21’ – Gero's header misses target and is weak and so cannot trouble Annan in the Ghana goal.
20’ – Nigeria are really yet to settle down more than 20 minutes into this clash.
20’ – Okani saves a shot from distance by Safiu Abdul.
19’ – Seidu Salifu fouls Nzube of Nigeria and free kick quickly taken.
18’ – Bassit Abdul is giving Aluko some worry by the left side of Nigerian defence.
16’ – Gero is fould inside his area and free kick to Nigeria.
15’ – Nigeria again under pressure and Kingsley patrick concedes an unnecessary corner.
14’ – Free kick to Ghana around their goal area after uche Agbo handles the ball.
12’ – Ghana are enjoying more of the ball, but Nigeria look dangerous when they attack.
12’ – Rahman Abdul shot from distance easily held by Nigeria's Okani.
10’ – But in the midst of the indifferent start, Gero's shot from top of the box is blocked.
10’ – The Flying Eagles are yet to find their feet...
9’ – Aluko commits another free kick around the Flying Eagles area but again Ghana fail to make the most of it.
8’ – Nigeria launch first attack but goalkeeper Annan dives to hold the shot by Aminu Uma.
7’ – Nigeria's Shehu Abdullahi is down on the turf and free kick to Flying Eagles.
6’ – But Safiu Abdul's free kick is wide off target.
6’ – Foul on Sarfo Gyamfi around Nigeria box, free kick Ghana.
5’ – Goalkeeper Okani of Nigeria makes first save of the game.
4’ – Corner to Ghana after Aluko plays safe.
2’ – The Ghanaians are playing the ball between them but the Flying eagles break the flow now.
