Chapter 1
It is a few minutes to 7pm, the programme true life experiences on channel seven is about to start. The studio is in a frantic state, everyone is in excitement frenzy. Sandra, the anchor of the programme was shouting at the top of her voice. Today’s story was quite different from the others. It was a story that has been haunting her for a past few months. A friend’s mother had been sharing the story with her friend, catching the tit bits and getting intrigue, Sandra decided to pursue the story to the last. Although the incident happened about night months ago, it was still fresh and worth talking about. Finally Sandra got through to those involved and the have agreed to share their story.


Jadesola was born in Ibadan, Oyo state to a polygamous family of ten. Her own mother gave birth to four, three girls and a boy. Things were a little bit rough in the beginning when jadesola’s mother couldn’t give birth to a boy, her father married another woman who also gave birth to girls but after a while jadesola’s mum gave birth to a boy.
Jade as fondly called by friends and relatives is the first born, she is a very responsible girl, warm and cheerful and very sympathetic. She is very dependable and also a good listener. She is a woman of every man’s dream.
Being from a polygamous family, people and observers expected envy, jealousy and hatred to prevail in their family as seen by other polygamous families around but on the contrary, theirs was a rather close family. There was love between them, anyone looking from outside wouldn’t realise all the children were not from a mother.
Jade, is a very strong willed, compassionate girl who is determined to go all the way in helping people. When it was time for her higher education, she chooses to study guidance and counselling. At twenty – three, she finished her degree programme and got posted to Enugu State for National Youth Service.

Danjuma comes from the far north of Bornu state. He is also from a polygamous family but lost both parents during his primary school days to a car accident. His uncle took over his sponsorship since he was the only child between his parents and the other six borne by the first wife were with her. His late mother was the new wife giving to his father by their town people as an appreciation for his kindness during his time has the chief.
Danjuma is quiet in nature dark and of average height. He is a soft and caring person with gentle words for everyone. He is so much loved by the people he comes across because of his deep personality. Although, danjuma lost both parents, his uncle was always there for him and didn’t make him feel alone at all times. Danjuma’s dream became a reality as he passed his final bar examination and was certified as a lawyer. The time for time arrived and he was posted to Enugu state.

It was an emotional parting for jadesola and her family although they were excited for her being the first born and to be away from her family of a long while. Both jade and danjuma had never been to the east before although each was excited about travelling that far, they had their misgivings. Both had heard so many things about there state of deployment and about the east in general, it was time for them to see how true the stories were.
Bothe jadesola and danjuma set off at different places with different views if life to fulfil their mission, fate has done it again, thrown to extremely different people to reach their destiny.

dis story sounds like a real thriller. the way you started it makes keeps one to the edge of their seats with anticipation.
i bet its nice. you have to do a few spelling checks and dats dat. pls continue. i wishit were a book i had in my hand to read.
