IGBOKWENU TV THE PREMIER IGBO MEDIA PLATFORM

Igbo is one of the major languages in Nigeria, spoken by the Igbo people. Igbos are one of the largest groups in Nigeria, who can be found all over the world. Though we are widespread, over the years there have been a number of threats, and issues regarding our culture which have come under threat, i.e. language facing extinction, using Igbo names, respecting traditions.

A platform was needed to address these issues, and bring them to the forefront, enter Igbokwenu TV.

What is Igbokwenu TV ?

Igbokwenu TV is a New, Fresh, and Pioneering online TV station, aimed at reflecting the various aspects of Igbo Culture, and its people across the world.

Igbokwenu TV will meet the demand for an engaging TV station by ensuring the various channels entertains and educates its viewers.

Igbokwenu TV aims to be the No.1 News, Information, Current Affairs, and Entertainment hub for all things Igbo related.

What will Igbokwenu TV consist of?

Igbokwenu TV will have the following platforms;

Videos - Broadcasting videos from Igbo Artists all over the Diaspora, documentaries covering various current affair issues, educating people on the Igbo language, cartoons, comedy sketches.

Shows - Live broadcasted shows covering the following; Current Affairs, Music, Coverage of Events.

Interviews - Interviews with Igbo dignitaries in the UK, and globally who work in various fields. From pioneers, CEOs, Historical Figures, Role Models, etc.

Radio - Non Stop Igbo music 24/7.

This is nice. Finally, an Igbo channel. I was actually planning on floating one in the future.

I don't know how much of Igbo or English programs will be aired but o want to belive there'll be more of Igbo content than English.

Of course anybody can watch it. I watch Yoruba programs like Nkan Nbe and Mini Jojo, so no biggie.
