Can internet service such as MTN, Etisalat or Glo data service be disrupted in a location by a third party (not the provider itself)?

If it can, how can it be detected and fixed?

I have been in a conference room whre there were over seven difffrent ISP products and there was no such thing as disruption as the operators use different radio access point with diffrent signals.

That is not exactly what i mean. My question is: can u by any means obstruct data service of a network in an area?

yes, the signals can be jammed.

probably a higher level of security or removal from the area of the interference.

for example, if a physical jamming device was used (the type that operates within a given vicinity), then getting out of range would help. Not very practical though, since most times you wont know what or where the disruption is coming from.


other times, could be a DOS attack by hackers and/or these shady characters who abound on the internet.
