Go to setting then click on wireless and network,scroll down to mobile internet and disconnect by unticking it. You can always connect the internet back whenever you want to browse the internet by ticking the mobile internet.

thanks. Sorry 4 bothering u. I switched my phone off yesterday on switching it on it display two straight lines on the screen near the homescreen icons i dont knw wat i ve pressed.
