Indications emerged that the suspended House of Representatives Lawmaker, Hon. Farouk Lawan may not be able to produce the marked $620,000, he allegedly collected from an Oil magnate, Mr. Femi Otedola next week as part of conditions giving to him for his released by the Police.

Daily Post” gathered that the former Chairman of Ad Hoc Committee on Fuel Subsidy reportedly told his investigators that the dollars have been stolen.

It was gathered that Lawan disclosed this to the security agents when his Apo Lawmakers’ residence in Abuja was visited for thorough searching for the dollars.

It will be recalled that the security operatives only recovered $10,000 dollars, but it was not confirmed if it was the marked dollars. Also, Police had visited Lawan’s bank accounts in search of the dollars, but they could not found the money.

A source among the investigators revealed to “Daily Post” that when Lawan was asked about the dollars, the Lawmaker claimed to have collected the money from the Zenon Chairman as an exhibit ,he also said that he never knew who stole the money.

However, Lawan has been released from the police custody on one condition that he must provide the marked dollars next week or face the wrath of law again.
