Yeah, United had the measure of Real Madrid when the game was 11 v 11. In fact, Madrid hardly created real goal scoring opportunities until the sending off. I would also put some of the blame on Fergie.
He should have brought on a defender or a defensive midfielder immediately after the red card was issued. Being 1 goal ahead at the time, United could have afforded to defend deeply.
