Boko Haram, whose original name is Jama'atu Ahli...whatever, has become Nigeria’s bloody albatross. Every Sunday most Nigerian Christians home and abroad go to morning church service, with one thing at the back of their minds, “where’s the next bomb blast taking place, oh God help us.” Sure enough the bomb blast most times does occur, the news spreads like wildfire and gory pictures of dismembered and burnt human remains begin to spread on various news and social networking sites. Thus as it stands, Boko Haram commits the ‘act’ and allows fellow Nigerians help in spreading the terror message to all. Other global terrorist organisations ‘painstakingly' record and distribute detailed gory images of their activities in order to scare governments and citizens into submission; in Nigeria, the citizens do it for them.

On the 9th of September 11, 2001 the world trade centre was hit and well over three thousand (3,000)Americans lost their lives; but can anyone claim to have seen corpses of any of the victims? No. The American government banned the media from ground zero, and ensured that gory pictures of her victims’ corpses were never released to the media.

There’s an age long war strategy which says, “Never let your enemies see you bleed.” But in Nigeria, whenever the enemy (boko haram) strikes, we don’t only let our enemies see us bleed, we bathe in our own blood, curse our leaders and open up our A$$ holes for Boko haram to keep sodomizing every other Sunday.
