2012/2013 POST-UTME SCREENING HOLDS 9TH -13TH JULY, 2012 This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University, Anyigba, for the 2012/2013 Academic Session, and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE (MOST PREFERRED INSTITUTION ONLY), that they would be screened through a computer-based test, in their subject combinations, similar to UTME, starting from Monday, 9th and ending on Friday, 13th July, 2012. Candidates who made the University their SECOND CHOICE NEED NOT REGISTER for the Screening Exercise. Candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public are to note that ability to read and click or move the mouse on the computer are the only requirements for the test. QUALIFICATION FOR SCREENING: Only candidates with UTME Score of 180 and above and with requisite minimum of Five (5) 0’ Level credit passes, including English Language (and Mathematics for programmes in the Faculties of Natural Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, and some programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences), at not more than two sittings, are eligible to attend the Screening Exercise. REGISTRATION FOR SCREENING: Registration for the Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, 25th June and close on Friday, 6th July, 2012. Details of registration procedure are as follows: i) Candidates are to pay into Kogi State University Post-UTME Account No: 1130036448 on X-Path Platform. Bank Name: Any Branch of Zenith Bank Plc nationwide, through the X- Path Payment Platform. Candidates do not necessarily need to come to the KSU Anyigba Branch of Zenith Bank Plc, to make their payment. Amount: N2,000 (Two thousand Naira only) only (i.e One thousand Naira for the Registration / Screening and One thousand Naira for result checking), excluding bank charges of N200. ii) Candidates are to obtain a PIN (Personal Identification Number) from the bank after the payment of the N2,000 (Two thousand Naira only). iii) Candidates should visit any cyber-café to register on-line on the institution’s portal: www.ksuportal.edu.ng with the following details: a) Surname b) Other names c) State of Origin d) Local Government Area e) Faculty / Department f) Course of Study g) JAMB Registration Number h) UTME Score i) Passport upload j) Phone Number iv) Candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of their passport photographs (file size: not more that 20 KB), with RED Background. v) Candidates are to print out their respective Schedule Slip or Registration Slip containing date and time schedule for the screening. The printout of the Schedule Slip or Registration Slip and the printout of the UTME result MUST be brought to the Screening venue for submission to Screening Officers. Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own record. vi) Candidates MUST arrive at the Faculty of Natural Sciences Lecture Theatre One (L.T 1), ONE HOUR (1 HR) before their Scheduled Screening time, to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.Call 08169446349 for more information.
