The only way is when the milk starts flowing, just look at the colour, it should be slightly off white, and light (not thick like cows milk oh!). If it's any other colour like blue, red or fuschia pink, it's not healthy

grin grin grin

Breastmilk color changes depending on the food a mum eats. E.g if a mum eats beetroot then her breastmilk will most likely look pink in color. Same way if she eats lots of greens. Colostrum which is the first milk a mum produces is yellow in color. This later changes to fore milk which is white and then hind milk which is off white. The only time u shud be worried about ur milk color is when u have a serious case of mastitis where ur duct gets to burst so blood is mixed with milk but then again research says its still safe for baby to drink but if u r not comfortable then u can pump and dump.

Hello my people, Good Morning!!
Biko, no waka pass me, my 7month DD clingy is getting toooo much. She always want me to carry all the time, I tried putting her in her walker, stroller even bouncer. Everything is proving abortive, always crying. The most annoying part is she doesn't allow her dad to carry her. She doesn't sleep on her own unless you back her both day and night (all thanks to my MIL, she has gone now, na me dey suffer am) DH really pitied me yesterday, his suggesting a Creche for her because this aunty needs serious training. please suggest a solution for me, this wahala is killing me softly.

Phew it's been a while. Hello everyone

This is my DS story but a creche did the magic for us, my son won't sleep without breastfeeding or back so when he started creche it was a bit difficult for him cos creche people insisted they won't back him to sleep although they succumb some times but most times they put him down and pat him till he sleeps. Although till now he doesn't sleep on his own If I'm the only one with him I have to back him or bf him but he sleeps longer unlike before. He sleeps on his own when he's in creche and also with his dad.
Pls if you don't trust the minders don't even try dropping DD with them before they go and give her medications. God forbid

Hello mummys, is noodles safe for a 7 month old? My baby is extremely picky and feeding solids have been difficult, sadly we're still doing majorly breastfeeding,
but recently I tried noodles and boiled egg, she loved it, she practically pulls my hand towards her mouth impatiently for the next spoon.

I just want to know if it safe especially as a lot of yarn has been said about these noodle's seasoning

Can't really remember when exactly I started feeding my son with noodles but I go with Akorkor recipe, I use my stew to make the noodles and mash with fish or egg yoke and he likes it. I think you can cook it without the seasoning though.

Make it with stew instead of the noodles seasoning. You can make it more nutritious, include lots of crayfish and shredded debonned fish. Noodles is my baby's next best after semo..

Modified. I see my sis Nimi22 has answered you. How far girl? You go that place? Congrats on Cole's walking (if that's a thing grin grin)
