Do you have Infant painkiller? Depending on the one you have, maybe give according to dosage at home, for not more than 2 days. And consider non-medicating ways to cool him down (lukewarm water bath) perhaps.

Calpol or Infant Tylenol. I don't know but there are more affordable Nigerian brand painkillers, but I'm sure other mama's can give you names.

Onegai suggested Capol which is very good. U can also get M&B Paracetamol. Tylenol is more effective than our naija brands (From my observation though) but I doubt if u ll see it in naija (Check u might be lucky to see it)i kno mamas that give ibuprofen syrup straight up but I give ibuprofen only when d pead prescribes it.

In its solid form or watery? I just finished treating malaria and my DD now poos after every feed. Av been giving zinc tablet and ORS but she's still pooing.

There are many good brands out there. The cost will likely determine the one you settle for. I would likely stick with pampers or huggies brand!

Because of your schedule. You would have to start at the weekends only. Place the potty in a place easily accessible to him and take him to the spot every hour. It's a lot of work but you keep trying till he gets the hang of it.

Before bath time in the morning and evenings is also a good time to make him sit there and try to poo.

Don't pressure yourself or him. Every baby is different and will catch the concept only when they're ready to do so!.

I was given Evans co-trimoxazole paediatric Suspension in d Hospital (5mls 2 times daily for 5days.my son is 11month n before I took him to d hospital, he poo like 8times n d last poo there was traces of blood in it.bt now he is doing fine n poo normal.....

Please kindly help me on this. for some days now, i have noticed that my boy gets warm and his temp gets to over 38. He doesnt cry or show any sign that he is uncomfortable when his temp is high. He was just 8 months last week and he is yet to have his first set of teeths, though he has been gnawling on anything his hand can hold, recently i noticed also that he has boils on his head (4 boils on his head) but he doest cry or feel any pains.

We took him to see a Paed twice and she said he was fighting an infection. but i dont think that is the case.

Please is it normal for an 8 months old to have sudden high temp? what could be the cause and what can i do to stop this?

Your baby will be fine, use the drugs that was prescribed and tepid sponge and also bath with warm water.

Carpal tunnel syndrome (that's d name). Unfortunately my dear no cure for it. It comes and goes on its own. In some pple it last for up to 6months after pregnancy and for others one year. It's very uncomfortable but don't worry it will go with time. A friend uses wrist brace. She wears it on her wrist and says it helps.
