Nigerian National Team played an exhibition encounter against Great Britain at the University of Houston.
The African powerhouse clinched a narrow overtime victory at the end. Ike Diogu (204-F/C-83, college: Arizona St.) stepped up with impressive 33 points to lead the winners.
The teams stayed close throughout the first half.

They eked out a 6-point lead before the fourth frame. However Ike Diogu sparked a comeback rally from Nigeria. The African team denied the deficit and forced overtime.

They were on fire in the extra period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Andrew Lawrence (187-G-90) accounted for 19 points for Great Britain. Eric Boateng (208-C-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Arizona St.) delivered 13 points in the loss.
