Accountabilities
· Type and prepare general documents
· Assist in the writing of technical documents, (procedures, processes, operational manuals, HSE safety case, hazard registers, time sheets and reports etc).
· Maintain and supervise the general filing systems
· Ensure the availability, and control the issue of all stationery requirements
· Supervise and keep records of all travel and accommodation requests from staff and visitors associated with the section
· Supervise and keep records for HR related issues/records/leave schedules/time sheets etc
· Supervise and co-ordinate requests for office movables
· Co-ordinate the booking of venues within and outside the section for meetings and workshops
· Liaise with IT and other service departments to ensure availability and maintenance of fax machines, network printers, overhead projectors and other office equipment
· Liaise with the catering/cleaning contractor, and building maintenance contractor to ensure that the Onne Base facilities are maintained to a suitable standard.
Experience and Qualification Required
A good Degree or HND diploma in Business or Secretarial Administration or computer science, with minimum 2 years’ administrative experience and should possess excellent communication skills.
The position also requires good supervisory and disciplinary skills.
It would be an advantage to have awareness of the roles of support services such as:
· Materials
· Transport
· Human Resources
· Office Service Departments
