1. Ensure your country has an adequate league.
2. Know the top leagues in the world and your continent.
3. Research the most important stats for any given position and make selections by 'comparison table' of players from 1 and 2 above.
4. Make two teams out of players from 3 above. Play them in and out of their positions in training and play them against each other for longer than match periods, at least two days away from match day. Make sure energy drink and water is available.
5. Study opponent games, if availalable, with your team and understand why they play that way.
6. Play your games in constant motion, they players will always move and so does the ball, like in training but much easier and sweeter here. Mark by staying in the centre, behind the ball and not too far from the opponent with the ball.
