Its not a bad idea to want to live your lecturer dream
Its not equally a bad idea to take up the Lagos job
You rightly pointed out the challenge in the Lecturer position
Its a legitimate concern
Stay with the Lagos job, there's room for growth
You have work experience as well as the opportunity of schooling also
There's a system of study leave where you get to negotiate for pay as well
Even there's poasibility of applying for a lecturer position
Afterwards in Lagos
Who says you can't go to school while working?
Its the same even if you are in lecturing? You'll be working as well
Usually, that combination could be dicey if you unfortunately get an inconsiderate supervisor
They could keep you on a Masters or PhD for as long as possible to prevent as many as possible climbing to their level
I'm not saying it will happen to you,I'm only pointing out the pros and cons.
All the best
