Have you guys forgotten that, ghost workers salaries constitute about 40% of Aboki's salaries?. It is a normal thing, we need to cause the British Government that amalgamated the Northern and Southern Nigeria that, British Government will know no peace as they have put Nigeria into this mess.

Sanusi with all his fake failed economic ideologies cannot even advice those aboki govt to open an Islamic bank (since existing banks are western) to pay teachers salaries, charity begins at home they say.

The most painful about the incident was that,th common men that will lost their life,if the robbers just snatch the cash without lost it might have better.Nigeria is facing insecurity in every sector but is not targeting our political leaders that are engaging in the embezzlement of the national cake.until we are able to kill corruption it is then corruption wil not kill us again. How can we kill corruption in nigeria?

We are very slow in embracing a system that takes care of things like this. The sanusi introduced mobile payment system ie cashless economy is meant to kick out these arm robbers i bet you. I hav been using it and it is super. If merchants and individuals can quickly sign up, that is it. To get started, txt : REG FIRSTNAME LASTNAME 002386. To 20220 mtn/airtel, 31030 glo, 4045 etisalat. Then download the etranzact pocketmoni app to ur phone. It is menu driven, multinetwork capable and can seamlessly interface wt third party payment system. That means you can send nd recieve möney, and buy anything wt it.

Paying salaries in cash shouldn't have arise in the first place but before we continue to criticize, we don't know the prevailing circumstances in the area for such still being practiced. I will further say that it is in human to congregate evrybody from a LGA for the purpose of paying their salaries. As much as paying in cash is obselete, why not take it to their individual places of work and give. The government in all strata still believed and carry on as if they are really doing the workers under their employment a FAVOUR. Worse is that the senior civil servants are much more into this. You'll see some Fed Ministires asking workers from a state to come to Abuja for some verification or some exercise, therby exposing these workers to various dangers shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked. Whereas sending one or two or three officers will have suffice. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

ochallo: if this is true and teachers salaries were indeed snatched, God would surely punish the thieves, i am saying this because, i have taught before and teaching is one of the most difficult job, yet so underrated.
Dont waste your saliva. I can guarantee you that most teachers up there are crooks. However, this action is condemnable...there is connivance somewhere. everything about these northerners can be summed up in one word, WASTAGE of nigerias resources.! and subjecting their own people to an endless cycle of crushing poverty.
Re: Robbers Snatch Teachers’ Salaries In Yobe State by Dracula27: 7:08pm On Jul 10, 2012
pple the place in question is like an interior village that might not have a bank and the teachers most likely don't have B acts.
