Hello house

i am a computer science student here in Nigeria and we are about starting Computer Organization and Assembly Language. I am trying to read ahead of the class and get some tips and tricks about the whole programming language though i have searched online for some stuffs i still think there is something i haven't read that's making the whole language not flow unlike JAVA which we have been doing for months and it's going smoothly.

I was reading this evening about the whole theory/boring part of the material given to us by the school management and as i was about to get to the main deal (the programming part).. it was said we are to start with DEBUGGING. I was told to type in "DEBUG" and hit enter in my CMD.EXE i did that and was showN 'DEBUG' is not recognized as an internal or external command.

I thought it was the problem of my system but i googled some things up and was told it wasn't included in windows 7. So please how can i solve the problem and can anybody help me on other sources where i can get good e-books on assembly language

kinda late to post this but Yes, DEBUG was removed from Windows 7 by microsoft. For some reason. FASM or Emu8086 are good alternatives. Same syntax in 16bit mode
