i have an attendance monitoring system to develope using ms access as backend and vb.net 2008 as frontend. My intention is to save d fingerpint images into d database as image type. My fear is how to compare d image with d inputed one from pictue box ,since i don't want 2 use a scanner. Pls tell me what to do.

The sdk u intend 2 use will abstract dat by providing a method u can us 2 compare 2 finger print objects

U can't save scanned fingerprints as image. They are saved as templates. So u can compare d finger print templates. d SDK wld mk it easier to understand.

If u wanna save to d DB u gotta serialize it to bytes.
