Indeed,Calculus is one of thd greatest topic in maths,as we all know that it is used extensively in Mathematics,Science,Engineering,Economics e.t.c and also can be used to solve Real Life problems.......It was first discovered by the great Physicist,Isaac Newton & one other Swiss Scientist...As we all know Calculus deals with the rate of change..It is divided into 2 arms namely Differentiation and Integration which some term as word and opposite........NOW BRAINEES LETS try and be testing our knowledge on this by posting various questions as this will also help to improve on it.

@poster...Area=xy ..perimeter=1000m=2x+y....y=1000-2x....put d last equation in d first equation..Area=x(1000-2x)....Area=1000x-2x^2...At maximum Area,dy/dx=0...dy/dx=1000-4x=0...4x=1000....x=1000/4=250...hence X=250m...Now put x into d perimeter equation to get Y.. 1000=2(250)+y...1000=500+y...y=1000-500...y=500m.....THUS,Dimension is lenght=500m and breadth=250....Maximum Area=250*500=125000m^2...
