Here is the catch, half of the american population are not even focused on the elections. Infact, about 25% will not even vote. Why should the rest of the world focus more on the America's 2008 election other than issues that affect the co-existence of the world?? Beats me. over 50% of the people who focus on america will not be directly affected in any way by american policy compared to the policies of their own government. Case and point, Africa, Majority of Nigerians have their lives crushed daily by decisions made right there at home by the Nigerian government. Ask the average Nigerian about what american policies are affecting his own life and he has no idea what policies there are but for some weird reason, he has been made to believe it is all america's fault in one way or another. I say it is more mental slavery than anything else.

because we must. this is life, we have to accept it that this is their own time and wether we like it or not we have to look up to them in many aspects of our lives.

i am surprised that many of us here are saying the world cannot afford another idiot and foolish president in the whitehouse but the most unfortunate thing here is that we have little or nothing to offer in the choice of who americans want as their president be he/her a fool or an idiot.
