Any need to use costly oil to run a new generator? by akinmusi(m): 6:01am On Jul 21, 2012
I bought a new Tiger generator (I-pass-my-neighbour). The next thing I did was rush to a filling station bought petrol of 5 litres mixed it with that 50 naira oil sold at one corner of the filling station.
After my action above, something went wrong. I discover that the gen stopped working by itself. When I started it, it would work for 10 mins plus and stop.
When I told a friend what happened, he told me I was killing the gen that I should have bought a different oil. Please I need your advice. When buying a new small Tiger generator, pls what oil do you recommend? Your comments will be appreciated.
