Forty five years ago, late General Ojukwu would have been in a state of eulogy, thinking to himself; after the war we will rebuild and the state of Biafra will rise among nations. This kind of thought was soon submerged by the manner at wish he and his subordinates were overpowered by a nation characterized by tribal division, ethnic multifariousness, nepotism and political crises.

In few years, the war was over, the state of Biafra remained sterile and a lot of people were described as “missing” but infact, people do not disappear or evaporate, they either perish or remain alive; there is no third possibility and in this case they were perished.

Things hadn’t gone as planed and with support from western power, it appeared the war was lost from the beginning. But General Ojukwu was an elementary believer and was ready to be in the center of the battle. His fanaticum was not the difficult birth of fear and weakness, nor his hesitation the consequence of doubt. Doubt had not yet nibbled at the infantile serenity of his cosmic appearance. It was not because he could not follow the intellectual process that he lost the war but he was reassured of their ultimate loyalty to him and in the end, what must have seemed, and sometimes certainly were, there treasonable dabbling.
