it is not a coincide that the republic of benin was rename from dahomey to republic of benin. it was rename the republic of benin because there was an attempt to unite the Yoruba of Nigeria and benin republic. under the name the repuublic of Benin.. several attempt was made... nigeria govt refuse..

When Ojukwu declare the republic of Biafra , during the war Ojukwu invade the area in question. And name the place republic of Benin. Why will the leaderr of Igbo people name a place republic of Benin, if Benin does not own the place.

Is akwa Ibom ready to stop cheating other southerners, No.. they want to still claim they own 75 oil platform.
