Finland:
A lot can be done my dear, for you to work in Nigeria you need work permit. these guys do not have permit to work whatsoever. for the fact that you belong to ecowas only guarantees your free movement and not work and make ends meets in the country. check the agreement.
now the world can see d hypocrisy of the nigerian.most nigerians living and trading in Ghana don't have residence/work permits n when the Ghanaian authorities said their activities in Ghana were illegal you same people were shouting ecowas, ecowas! Hmmm

hahahahaahahahah the way you people are complaining about them is the way europeans and other nations even zambia and ghana are complaining about nigeriansntrooping into their countries. abeg free them joor imagine even calling them black, i bet if we put up a poll on whether they should be dperted 80 percent will support deporting them but yet we call europeans racist and all kind of names for trying to protect their own country from immigrants like us

juliusczar: The activities of these foreigners are as terrible as crimes of igbo people in other African states.

guy do u know the population of igbos in chinese jail?truth is the amount of pressure ur people place on your menfolk is crazy. You expect them to be successful at all cost.I remember when I was serving a fellow corper who is female and igbo was surprised I was the first born male in my family.when I asked her why she was surprised she said I am not "enterprising"enough or better put not desperate enuf to succeed.that if I was igbo I would def have enormous pressure and eagerness to make quick dough So u see I guess the problem now is that the desperation to make money at any cost has spread thru out the land.so my friend craze for wealth in naija is largely traceable to the east

Tony Spike: Recently, I was at Okota in Lagos State and I couldn't but notice the preponderance of Okada-men from Niger Republic. They are easily identified by the darker blend of negroid skin features and inability to communicated in even pidgin English. It is noteworthy to note that Niger Republic is at least 1000 kms from Lagos and is mainly a security risk nation to Nigeria in terms of armed conflicts arising from Islamic Insurgents.

While Niger Republic is a member of ECOWAS, does it mean the large numbers of Nigeriens working in Lagos as Okada-man is legal? Can we confirm that they aren't a security risk to Lagos and Nigeria especially in this era of Boko Haram? How were they able to meander their way South of Nigeria without valid permits? Can anyone confirm other areas in Lagos where we have them in large numbers? These questions leave me begging and would appreciate contributions from NL readers. Thanks.

Nigerian Immigration Service is not doing any job. They are the biggest security threat we face today, especialy in Lagos. When they start throwing bombs, is going to be chaotic. They are the real causes of all religious riots in the country for over 30years now.

The problem with this country is brinkmanship and ineptitude. When these Chadian and Nigerien immigrants started their problems in the early 80s,our leaders were busy buying 504 and 404 pegeot sallon. The issue of territorial integrity and border security was not important. Now Boko haram members are now guarding virtualy all gates in Lagos, riding almost all the Okadas. No profession understand a landscape and knows were certain people live more than these. That simply means you life is in the palms if thes boko haram immigrants.

Even some 25yrs back,I had heard rumours of impending invasions by Nigerians and chadian.Over years Iv come to learn that almost every rumour in Nigeria are virtualy true news.

HAH: On the contrary Nigeriens should be afraid of Nigerians , have you ever heard of any serious break of law and order in Niger ' let me tell you if you go to Niamey they are more orderly and have better decorum than us in fact they are always scared of Nigerians with our funny ways. For goodness sake. Niger is a contry of 15 million people, inoder to cover our inefgiceincies we always blame our neighboring countries for crimes in naija like recently there was a a cry that the book haram members are from Niger when over 100 were arrested and quized by NIS non is a foreigner

You made my day bro tell them .....I grow up in Niamey and i'am a Nigerian descendant, people from Niger are the most peaceful people you can ever meet. But what many people fail to understand is that there are many Nigerians too in Niger doing all kind of work. Since when Nigerians started profiling against their own?

have you been to u.k prisons before? i guess not , take a visit there. what about the returnees from libya majority of them where yorubas , lets not even talk of how the hatred ghananians, kenyans and zambians started from yoruba fraudlent activities especially 419 and fake pastor churches, kenya almost burned down all your churches the other day . abeg park well.

if igbos put presure on their children to be successful how is that a bad thing? infact why did you even go to school and nysc ? no be the same money you dey find? why u no go your papa land go farm for your food but no you want a job with mtn or oil company with 400thousand naira salary , house on the island and correct honda accord oloshi.

joeyfire: Nah bruv. The ecowas charter grants a passport bearing citizen 90 days stay and it doesn't give the right to work in the country visited. Unfortunately our immmigration service is all but moribund or just compromised

So you people knew the ECOWAS CHARTER very well and when ghana wanted to rid its streets with illegal migrants you were complaining.
Re: Okada-men From Niger Republic A Security Risk To Nigeria? by EMPERORZIMUS: 8:16am On Jul 26, 2012

They are a serious security risk, it has been confirmed that they are in all the Nigerian cities that still allow motorbikes , this is a way a society gets penetrated and they will know all the nooks and crannies, someday when the time is right they will be activated we will just be like Syria.

I had an experience 2days ago when I boarded an okada owned by a Nigerian guy.
I noticed that when a police officer stopped us, the bike guy spoke rudely to him
When we left, the bike guy told me that he has Juju that he tied round his waist that no police or area boy can collect money from him. Those guys aqe dangerous
