Thus, learning ways to manage this condition
from day to day is also very important. Listed below are ten
fruits that are low on the glycemic index and can help to
stabilize the blood sugars, as well as giving the body the

Apples
Apples are a great choice for diabetics because they are loaded

High in dietary fiber and monounsaturated fats, avocadoes can

at an increased risk for heart disease, should have a diet rich in
these good fats, since it can lower the risk of cardiac disease.

Strawberries
These berries are low on the glycemic index (at 44) and are
high in fiber; their antioxidant properties can also help lower
the risk for heart disease, which is also critical in the day to day
management of diabetes.

Oranges
Oranges rank from between 31 to 50 on the glycemic index,
which means that they will not spike up the blood sugars and
their high fiber content will keep these blood sugar levels on an
even keel. They are also good for weight loss, another
important part of diabetes management.

Pears
Pears are vitamin- and fiber-rich, so can help to stabilize blood
sugars and only have a glycemic index of 38. They have also
been shown to help lower the body’s insulin resistance.

Kiwi
Kiwi has also been shown to support healthy blood sugar
levels, probably due to the fact that it is high in fiber,
potassium and the anti-oxidant beta-carotene. It’s glycemic
index ranges from 47 to 58.

Folorunsho Coker has been said to be the engineer behind

popular Mavin group as against many people’s beliefs that
Don Jazzy is the real head of the music group.

romantically linked Coker with Tiwa Savage, making many to

the politician’s alleged ownership of Mavin Records; with Don
Jazzy said to be the official face of the brand.

It was also made known that it was in an attempt to spite
Coker that Tiwa Savage got married to Teebilz when she
noticed that the politician was also having a romantic affair
with label mate, Di’Ja.

This step of getting married to Teebilz got Coker angry
because of his love for the singer to the point that he was
bent on destroying whatever Teebliz and the singer have
together as husband and wife.

Teebliz was however said to have been suspicious of his wife’s
never ending phone calls and incessant messages with the
politician even when the beautiful singer assured her husband
that all interactions with the politician are purely official.

Mr Coker who was a Deputy Chief of Staff to ex-Lagos
Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been said not to be far
from controversies as his crashed marriage to Folake
Akindele, his business relationship with Kasham Buruji and his
appointment into the Lagos State government had always
been topic of controversies.

It would be recalled that just few weeks ago, news about the
beautiful singer having marital challenges rocked the country.

Meet Ben Byrne the man sharing the bed of Perth
identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque who spent
more than $240,000 on surgeries to look more alike.
The 31-year-old won the hearts of both girls after they
added him on Facebook on the suggestion of mutual
friends.

At first, the electrical mechanic had trouble balancing
the demands of two girlfriends, but very early on into
their 18month relationship he learned the attention he
paid to one, had to be paid to the other
It is my first time with two girlfriends, and to be
honest its very difficult because it has to be 100 per
cent even, Mr Byrne told Womans Day.

Whatever I do for one I have to do for the other, so it is
a fine balance. My mates reckon its a cool problem to
have.

This is the first time the health nut has spoken out
about his unorthodox relationship with the 28 year old
since he came to the attention of global media when
Anna and Lucys story came to light earlier this year.



But after living with the twins and their mother,
Jeanna, for 10 months, he now feels more comfortable
to share.

Lucy said the question they got the most was: How
does one guy keep up with two girls in the bedroom?
Put it this way, we are very active girls and he needs
twice the energy, she said.

But Mr Byrne is probably more open than most men to
having identical twins as girlfriends.
Dubbed as The Chosen One by the DeCinque girls, Mr
Byrne himself is a twin.

And more importantly he has the seal of approval from
Anna and Lucys mother who said her girls live in
boyfriend was a true gentleman.

Jeanna said she was happy as long as the girls were
happy and had formed a strong bond with Mr Byrne as
she found herself sticking up for him when he fought
with the twins.
Mr Byrne told Womans Day that was probably the
worst part of his relationship because it was always
two versus one.

But on the bright side I get double the love, he said.



The girls made world headlines when their story was
revealed to media outlets.
They have spent $240,800 on cosmetic procedures to
look more alike including lip fillers, breast implants,
and fake eyebrows and eyelashes.

But it is not just a boyfriend and looks, the pair have
in common.
Anna and Lucy also share a job, a car and a Facebook
account on which they first met their boyfriend.

Mr Byrne said they talked for about six months before
they met in person.

Anna said they put off their first meeting as long as
they could because they had trust issues, and wanted
to make sure Mr Byrne was the real deal.

At the age of two, this toddler shocked the
world when photos of him were revealed as
he was chain-smoking cigarettes.

Now, at age 5, he has reportedly kicked the habit,
although he now seems to have another
addiction. Food.



Aldi Rizal was discovered in a poor village in
Sumatra, Indonesia, puffing on a cigarette while
riding his tricycle.

After his lifestyle was discovered, he was taken for
play therapy sessions in the capital Jakarta for
two weeks to take his mind off his 40-a-day habit
and learn to be a normal toddler for the first time.

Now, a new documentary has shown the progress
made by this little boy. It has been revealed that
he has managed to stay off the cigarettes, but is
still dangerously unhealthy.

His mother revealed that Aldi faces temptation

'There are many people still offering Aldi
cigarettes, but Aldi no."


However, Mrs Rizal is now worried about her son's
weight, as he developed food cravings while
quitting smoking, and now has a big appetite.

Mrs Rizal said the strong-willed little boy now
demands food in the same way he used to beg for
cigarettes, and the family struggles not to give in
to his tantrums.

She said: 'When Aldi first quit smoking he would
demand a lot of toys.

'He would bang his head on the wall if he couldn't
get what he wanted. That's why I get him
cigarettes in the first place - because of his
temper and his crying.

'Now I don't give him cigarettes, but he eats a lot.
With so many people living in the house it's hard
to stop him from getting food.'

Mrs Rizal must also persuade Aldi's siblings and
the rest of the family not to give in and provide
him with junk food when she is not around.

Doctors hope that if Aldi can lose around half a
stone to a stone, his weight will eventually even
