they have now been classified as Igbo but when it comes to our oyel they turn anioma, ukuani etc. well it is good to know that Igbo's alone control seven and half states(oando is the half) even Hausa's can't boast of such!
Sorry dear you dont control Delta........You only rented it. Delta is Urhobo and Urhobo is Delta.

If the power sharing arrangement is not straightened, APC would be taking over Delta come 2019 via the Ibori, Ogboru, Ortega and Ayiri route.

O yes the you do.

How else would you explain the fact that both Clark and the Pere of Gbaramatu were elevated above the Ovie of Uvwie who by any ranking is the most powerful traditional ruler in Delta state.

The Ijaws have hijacked the Niger Delta struggle to an Ijaw struggle. When we boot Okowa and the ijaw click out in 2019 then maybe you'd owe us SOME APOLOGY

Some from the Anioma axis should tell the Urhobos that it's Anioma not Igbo.

“An Educated person is easier to reason with, harder to control”- Source(?)

The insurgency in the North east cannot be easily wished away. The name Boko Haram [Boko- Book, Haram- Bad or evil] simply entails that education or book is evil, bad or haram.

In the North indices of education is at the lowest ebb in Nigeria. Close to 80% or more of women are uneducated or stark illiterates. In the case of those who are educated, the use of English is impeded and availability of literature in Hausa or Arabic is low. This explains why women form the bulk of suicide bombers.

Women are naturally subservient and this is exaggerated when she is uneducated or exposed. The ease at which a woman can be ordered to wear a vest by her husband and to detonate such in the market square or mosque is all too easy when she is illiterate or unexposed. Compared with their southern counterparts who cannot be ordered around, destruction of lives and property is all too easy by these willing tools.

In the case of the males, education is received from Islamic or koranic schools where they are taught by radical teachers. From such young age they are radicalized and fed distorted truths of Islam.
This entire scenario is worsened by Northern politician’s attitude toward building and equipping schools and other educational institutions. The state of most Northern primary and secondary schools are either run-down structures or with few teachers. The reason for the alleged non-investment in schools is usually due to their desire to control their populace as the beginning quote emphasizes.

The story of a Northern Governor’s home school being run-down and an eye sore shows the level or commitment and priority given to education. The Jigawa state Government’s building of over 100 mosques in a state that is in need of schools speaks volumes of the mindset of the average Northern politician. These have to change else the ideological war against book Haram would never be won.

Pls Correct the above mistakes.

To the topic, the issues raised by the article cannot be wished away by throwing tantrums. The fact of the matter remains that the Niger Delta region did not benefit from the Groundnut or Cocoa slush funds. This is factual and verifiable.

The question is why is the entire nation benefitting from crude Oil that should be used by the region to catch up with the rest of the nation.

On Biafra and IPOB, expect an article soon, thanks.

Now that is how civilized persons discuss.

RomanceAll Because He Had A Small Manhood- True Life Story by 9jasite(op): 1:43am On Jan 14, 2017
This true life story is about a 31 years old banker. He lost his life in Agege part of Lagos State through a fight with a street Agbero all because he had a small manhood and and only lasted for just 2mins! How Did a Seasoned Banker Got to the Level of Fighting with an Agbero? Keep Reading! This guy had a girlfriend whom he promised marriage. It turned that this lady was secretly dating another man (The Agbero). On discovering what was happening, the banker got so angry. He could not mad with the fact that his fiancée was secretly “KNACKING” another man behind his back. So he asked the lady to choose between him and the Agbero. Guess What? The babe went for the Agbero, thanked the banker for his many years of assistance then walked away! Women! Still trying to figure out if he was dreaming or it was actually happening for real, this banker picked up his phone and called the lady’s line. Surprisingly, the receiver was a man-the agbero. “Shebi you don free her?” “Why you still dey call dey disturb my babe?” He continues…. “So na that small money wey you dey give her wey I take dey help life na’im make you dey show yourself abi?” he Agbero was ranting at the other end. This banker, remembered that the very phone with which they were answering his call was an android phone (infinix hot) he bought for the babe. He stormed out in anger to meet the girl & retrieve some of his belongings that were in her possession. Unfortunately for him, the Agbero was there too! Gobe! That was how the fight started. The Agbero broke a bottle and stabbed him around the neck. That’s How a Good Banker Died In The hands of A Worthless Agbero! What would make a lady abandon a man who foots her bills for another who takes from her? Why would a woman cheat on a well to do man like a banker? The answer is simple! That Abgero has one thing the banker didn’t have….. Unlike the rich banker who was a confirm “2 Mins Man” Big, Strong & Reliable Blokos that can drill that babe till she loses her brain and went for a tout instead of sticking to a reasonable man. You See what man men don’t know is that for women it’s NOT always about the money. Rather it’s about how long your Blokos is & how long you can last on bed that will blow up their mind and make them feel you I their head…in short sturdy shows that it’s like a “drug” for women. -Forget About Your Range Rover! -Forget About You Billions of Naira! -Forget About Being a Caring Husband! -Forget About Giving Her 500k For Shopping!

Many life long Black Republicans had to suspend that status in 2008 to support a fellow Black man, President Obama out of purely primordial reasons (he is Black as I am) but to be honest, what has Africa and Nigeria gained from eight years of Obama in the White House?

He never visited Nigeria. He never packaged any special economic package for Nigeria or Africa. Say whatever you want to say about former President George W Bush but no other US President has been as radical in his support to Africa as Bush number 43!

For giving more than $5 billion in humanitarian aid to Africa annually, President Bush goes on record as having given more assistance to Sub Saharan Africa than any other president including President Obama!

AIDS and Malaria are some of our biggest challenges in Africa and Bush met us at the point of our need.

Before President George W Bush intervened in the fight against HIV/AIDS, only 100,000 Africans were on anti retrovirals but in 2003 he set up the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and by the time he left office in 2009 that number had grown to 2 million.

When Congress resisted his efforts for funding to the time of $1.2 billion to fight malaria in Africa in 2007 Bush persuaded them by saying "There's no reason for little babies to be dying of mosquito bites around the world."

Now I ask you, what similar effort have President Obama and Hillary put forward while they had power? Yes Obama has held summits like the first US/Africa Leaders Summit and the US Africa Business Summit but do we eat summits? What came of it other than talk and mostly Obama talking down at African leaders in a way he would never do with Asian leaders.

At least with Trump we know that he will take on ISIS and other radical Islamic groups and that includes Boko Haram!- Reno Omokiri

In total Obama's legacy can be summed up as follows

1. Destruction of Africa's jewel- Libya. His NATO led strikes against Gaddafi cannot be easily forgoten. Libya is now in ruins, its people are now refugees. Thanks Obama..

2. He refused to sell weapons to Nigeria and created an embargo on their allies selling weapons to Nigeria. Boko Haram flames were not enough to make him change his mind. Not bad Obama.

3. He elected to intervene in Libya and Syria but kept mute in the conflicts of Congo.

4. He halted imports of oil from Nigeria while increasing oil imports from Qatar. All these occurred despite Nigeria's intense lobby in Washington.

5. He foisted actively through every means possible a recession bearing candidate on Nigeria. Through lending of his campaign advisor and a timely speech warning Nigeria's former Government.

In all thanks Obama, YOU WONT BE MISSED

Foreign AffairsI Am Not Going Anywhere-yahya Jammeh by 9jasite(op): 12:09am On Jan 13, 2017
President Yahya Jammeh on Thursday in Banjul reiterated his stand that he would not step down as Gambian leader when his mandate ends on Wednesday.

The information ministry said in a statement read on national television that Mr. Jammeh was planning to remain in office until the Supreme Court decides on a petition he filed.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Mr. Jammeh is challenging the result of the December 1 presidential election he lost to Adama Barrow.

Mr. Barrow, a former real estate agent who was little known before he announced his candidacy, meanwhile has also reiterated he is planning to take office on January 19, as scheduled.

Earlier this week, Gambia’s dysfunctional Supreme Court adjourned hearing Mr. Jammeh’s petition to Monday, since only one of a required minimum of five judges were present.

Experts however believe it will be highly unlikely that four additional judges will be present on Monday.

This is because the Supreme Court has not been operational since Mr. Jammeh fired several of the court’s judges in mid-2016.

All other eligible Court of Appeal judges left the country after the December election.

Observers fear that delays to the planned handover of power could lead to violence as Gambia has been in a political lockdown since Mr. Jammeh refused to accept the result.

Meanwhile, some West African leaders, including Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, are expected to arrive in Gambia to convince Mr. Jammeh to respect the constitution and hand over the presidency.

PoliticsBuhari: Nigeria Was In A Terrible Shape When I Took Over by 9jasite(op): 11:57pm On Jan 12, 2017
President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday in Abuja said corruption ranks the ‘‘very worst” of all the major problems confronting Nigeria.

Receiving recipients of the 2016 Nigerian National Order of Merit (NNOM) at the State House, President Buhari said the ruling political party, All Progressives Congress, had identified three major challenges facing the nation as insecurity, poor economy, and corruption, noting that corruption was the most debilitating of all the ills.

‘‘Nobody disputed the fact that they were the major problems of Nigeria, and we campaigned on those three planks. As a government, we believe you cannot administer a country you have not secured, so we focused on security.

‘‘The economy is also down, therefore, we are not sparing any effort to revive and diversify it, so that our people, particularly the youths, can get jobs. The third problem, and the worst of them all, is corruption,’’ the President declared.

President Buhari told the awardees that the country was in a terrible shape when the administration came into power in 2015, with oil prices falling to as low as 37 dollars per barrel, from peak periods of over 100 dollars in previous years.

‘‘There was no money in the treasury,’’ he added. ‘‘We were producing less than one million barrels of oil per day, from the 2.2 million barrels we used to do. The country was in a terrible shape, but luckily, the people understand, and are cooperating with us.’’

Commending the 2016 merit award winners, Prof. Omowunmi Sadik for distinguishing herself in the Sciences, and Prof. Tanure Ojaide, in the Humanities, President Buhari described their contributions to the academia and national development as ‘‘quite fundamental’’.

In separate remarks, the award recipients, who had their investiture last year, December 1, 2016, commended the government on the anti-corruption war, noting, however, that more enlightenment campaign needed to be done on how corruption slows down development.

The dons also canvassed more funding for research, and appreciated the Federal Government for the National Order of Merit, ‘‘as nothing can be compared to being honoured by your own country.”

The Chairman of the Nigerian National Merit Award, Prof. Moses Etim, who led the team, said 73 awards had been given out since 1979, when the desire to identify and reward creative excellence among Nigerians was instituted into the NNOM.

BusinessDangote: "Kano & Kaduna Must Account For My Donations"; Gives Ultimatum by 9jasite(op): 11:07pm On Jan 12, 2017
The Chairman of Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote, has given the Kano and Kaduna States Government until March 31 to produce an audit report of how funds donated by his foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for polio immunization in the state last year were spent.

He said this was to ensure accountability and transparency in the management of the funds released under a tripartite agreement involving the state and the two foundations.

“All expenditure in the exercise must be verified by external auditors and the report tendered to partners in the tripartite agreement by the end of next March 31,” Mr. Dangote said Tuesday evening during a video conference at Government House, Kano.

The conference involved the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, co-chair of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufa’i, officials of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and other development partners.

He also stressed the need for the state government to pay more attention to collation of quality-assured data in respect of the exercise because of its significance in decision making.

Mr. Dangote however commended the state government for providing world-class cold chains, and urged the government to continue to work closely with traditional authorities and local government officials to achieve a Polio free society.

In his comments, Mr. Gates lauded the Kano and Kaduna state governments on the war against polio, stressing that total eradication of the disease is possible if the states maintained their zeal.

While also stressing the need for accountability in managing donor funds released for immunization, Mr. Gates advised both states to ensure timely release of funds to the basket fund, to keep things moving.

On his part, Governor Ganduje said “although a milestone has been reached recently in immunization in the state, which hitherto was the chief host of Polio, Kano state government will emphasize public enlightenment and cooperation with religious and traditional leaders to make the set goal achievable”.

He thanked the foundations and other donor agencies for supporting Kano to attain landmarks on immunization and maternal/child health.

In his remarks, Mr. El-Rufa’i requested scientific devices to help Nigeria generate accurate and comprehensive data for immunization and other development purposes.

He assured that his state would duly provide its audited 2016 immunization report.

Dangote and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations had in 2012 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kano State government on routine immunization. The tripartite accord was meant to lapse in 2015 but was extended by one year.

Kaduna state government signed a similar agreement with the foundations in 2015.

PoliticsIPOB Blast Yorubas On Kanu's Secret Trial, Compares With Awolowo by 9jasite(op): 10:46pm On Jan 12, 2017
LEADERSHIP of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned, in strong terms, those advocating that their leader, Nnamdi Kanu should under secret trial as ruled by Justice Binta Nyako. Condemning especially some Yoruba who have been using the social media to say that it was meet that Kanu should be tried in camera, IPOB asks if they would have supported a secret trial for the late Yoruba leader, Chief Obafemi Awolowo. A statement signed by IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, in condemning those supporting secret trial for Nnamdi Kanu to learn from history and stop supporting evil. Here is the full statement of the organisation.

“The indigenous people of Biafra IPOB worldwide and it’s leadership condemn those Nigerians supporting secret trial for mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case. “To all Yoruba and other Nigerian commentators supporting secret trial of Nnamdi Kanu. Stop your infantile digression and address this simple question. “Was Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s treason trial, mind you not treasonable felony, conducted in public or secret? Another question you must answer is this, was the then Action Group and today’s IPOB the same? Which of the two do you consider more dangerous, in view how the former spread anarchy through major Yoruba towns at the time? I put these questions to you in the hope that you are a student of history. “Some of you e-rats who forget that there is a discipline called history.

It records major events of our lives and preserves such for posterity. “Chief Obafemi Awolowo was charged, tried in the open and convicted of the more serious charge of treason which is a capital offence. He was dumped in Calabar prison until Ojukwu released him. “Yes Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu an Igbo man and leader of Biafra granted pardon to Awolowo and released him to Yoruba people. It wasn’t Hausa Fulani North that released Chief Awolowo, it was a Biafran. “These are verifiable historical facts cleverly hidden by the hegemonic forgot to tell since the release of chief Awolowo, hence all of you e-rats continue to wallow in ignorance till date.

“This is IPOB! We deconstruct our enemies with facts and figures that is why Nnamdi Kanu’s court case is a blessed opportunity for we Biafrans to lay bare before the world and human conscience everything wrong with the it should not be one. “Some of you who are internet rats in support of secret trial must know that the godfather of Yoruba politics Chief Obafemi Awolowo was a convicted felon and that is a tag Nnamdi Kanu can never be associated with. “If Chief Awolowo that committed treason was tried in the public with full media attendance, how much more Nnamdi Kanu answering to the lesser charge of treasonable felony. “This is why white people assert with some degree of accuracy that black people cannot reason.

This hypocritical attitude of some of you social commentators is indicative of the underlying pathological hatred you people have towards Igbo, which is largely driven by envy. “Our question to those who claim to be social media practitioners is this, would you have supported a secret trial for your Chief Obafemi Awolowo? “Within your predictable answer lies the reason why Nnamdi Kanu and his supporters don’t want anything to do with Nigeria. “You are vindictive, spiteful race of envious and cowards you are. Then why are you in support of secret trial for Kanu? Do you now see how terrible you saboteurs are as human beings? No wonder Hausa Fulani took Kwara State nobody say anything. May Chukwu Okike Abiama have mercy on you,” the organisation declares.
