Lagos should employ only people below 40 years to startup their state police. With a very good background check.
If possible, they should be trained using foreign intelligence and materials.
Most importantly, they should be paid well. Atleast 450k upward.
Because if not, it will just endup like the federal police that beg on the street. |

It might endup becoming Chinese factories with Nigerian cheap labour exports Nigerian made by Chinese factories to china. Chinese are really smart people. The game is rigged. Dangote is not above Nigerian Law. He must run his refinery within the jurisdiction of the employment laws in Nigeria.
He should never be allowed to have the say alone and monopolize the sectorr like he did in cement sector You people shout monopolization, has Dangote stopped anyone from building their own refinery. You guys are enemies of the country. |
NYSC › Re: Can A 27-Year-Old Graduate Get NYSC Exemption Without Age Modification? by aaaaabbbbbccccc: 10:40pm On Jun 08, 2025 |
immortalcrown: Whether you need it or not, getting the exemption when you are not above the age of 30 is a civil offence that can jeopardize office promotions or political appointments. Kingdavid579: He needs it because he aspires to political appointments and further studies like an MBA.
Not having an NYSC certificate can also affect one’s credibility in both business and political circles.
Beyond that, there’s a strong sense of personal fulfillment that comes with having it. check again. it's not needed. it's only needed to be a slave. jobs or civil servants. who cares about nysc in business or politics. "" For the office of governor, section 177 reads, “A person shall be qualified for election to the office of Governor of a State if he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth, he has attained the age of thirty-five years, he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party and if he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.” For members of the legislature, section 65 (1) reads, “Subject to the provisions of section 66 of this Constitution, a person shall be qualified for election as a member of the Senate if he is a citizen of Nigeria and has attained the age of 35 years and the House of Representatives if he is a citizen of Nigeria and has attained the age of 30 years. Section 65 (2) reads, “A person shall be qualified for election under subsection (1) of this section if he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent if he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that party. The NYSC is not listed as one in all of the above-listed requirements. It is also worth noting that court rulings at different points dismissed the NYSC certificate as a requirement for public office. "" |
NYSC › Re: Can A 27-Year-Old Graduate Get NYSC Exemption Without Age Modification? by aaaaabbbbbccccc: 9:40pm On Jun 08, 2025 |
immortalcrown: Some things should never be presented as a question. The exemption is for those who have crossed the age of 30. Is it possible for someone who is 27 today to become 31 today?
I know the country is so corrupt and anything goes. I know you can manage to boycott the NYSC program. But the problem is that people boycott certain things and refuse to give up the good things that what they boycott bring. You may boycott NYSC now and try to use corruption and bribe to cover it up in order to become a commissioner, minister or governor tomorrow.
No one knows tomorrow. Do your NYSC program. You managed your business for many years and it has been sustaining you but has not been able to make you a billionaire. Taking a break from the business for just 1 year will not be the reason the business can't make you a billionaire. you don't even need nysc for political posts |
