BlowYourMind: Hypocrites, what do you say about air peace Allen onyema's alleged indictment in US of money laundering? If found guilty Allen should go to jail. But it's been over 6 months now; and he is not in jail yet. So, you go figure. This is American justice working, not Nigeria's. Adesina will be free if innocent, just like Allen will be free if innocent. Stop with your Yoruba childish tribal sentiments. Trump does not care about Igbo or Yoruba. |

As long as the Independent investigator is not an American or at least it comprises of a team of people not directly American, I support it. |

AfricaUnited: Illiterate. US is a member state of AfDB (non-regional). They have the second highest voting power in the Bank. Read the photos I sent you. Educated illiterate Oga, apparently you are arguing with a village secondary school boy who does not know how to wash his hands before eating. Don't waste your time, please. |

Did US not prescribe the same independent investigation for Saddam Yet they went ahead to invade iraq and kill him. Guess what, till today US has never shown anybody a single wmd! They had an agenda to destroy iraq and kill saddam, period. This is irrelevant. Adesina is not a terrorist or alleged terrorist. |
Politics › Re: In Defense And Non-defense Of Adesina by AAEEI: 3:38pm On May 28, 2020 |
AfricaUnited: There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. So, how can you be proven guilty or innocent? It is by investigation of the facts. Let an independent investigator step in, in this case. It is in Dr. Adesina's interest to have an independent and thus unbiased investigation clear his name. If he is innocent we will know; if he is guilty we will also know. What is he afraid of? He is an American citizen (or at least a Green Card holder) and he knows how these things work in America. Ethnic and racial sentiments by Nigerians will not cut it. AfDB is an international bank funded at least 40% by non African entities (US, Europe etc). So, the funders (African countries and non Africans alike) have the right and obligation to know what happens there with their money and the conduct of the managers of their money. We have whistle blowers here for a reason. If the whistle blower is fake, then his or her job is gone, plus possible prosecution for defamation of character. If he or she is true, then Adesina must have his day in court. No need for any long story. An innocent heart fears no accusation, no matter who the accuser is. I agree with this argument. |

This is overly intrusive and invasive to their privacy Shut up. In the US pay is public data if you work for the govt. These info are already online. You can see I did not pick them from thin air. Trump's pay as a president is about 400K. Everybody knows that. We are not talking about your Banana Republic of Nigeria where everything is kept secret. |
