It all started in 2020 after the Imo-based comedian accused Odumeje of stage-managing miracles and having an affair with Rita Edochie. Odumeje may be a self-styled man of God but that doesn't change the fact that he is human. He got angry and cursed Ada Jesus and before anyone could finish saying Jack Robinson, the comedian became bedridden and lost her speech ability due to a deteriorating kidney-related disease.

Afraid for her life, her family took her to Odumeje's Church to seek forgiveness on Sunday, April 11, 2021, but Odumeje refused to forgive her, declaring that no one speaks ill against him and go scot-free.

As if that wasn't enough, Odumeje promised he will spiritually afflict her family too, causing him to come under heavy criticism from Nigerians especially Christians who likened him to a fake Christian pastor. 5 days later, Odumeje took a backtrack and finally forgave Ada Jesus, gifting her the sum of 1 million Naira. Sadly, Nigerians were not pleased by his gesture and called on him to prove he is not a fake pastor by healing the now lated comedian.

For a solid three months, the catchphrase, "What God cannot do doesn't exist" has been trending. But on Sunday, April 11, 2021, the phrase was suddenly changed to "What karma cannot do doesn't exist." It all started after sad news of comedian Ada Jesus took over the social media space.

The comedian who used to be hale and hearty was not only paralyzed and battling chronic kidney disease but also seeking forgiveness from those she had offended in the past.

The Imo-based comedian was notorious for making shocking accusations about popular people on her Facebook and Instagram pages. Some of her victims include Prophet Odumeje, Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, and an herbalist known as Chi Marine.

She had accused the herbalist of being fake and called out Odumeje for performing fake miracles in collaboration with Rita Edochie who happens to be his ardent church member. While some called it clout chasing at the time, the comedian insisted she was helping her fans with the truth.

Sadly, this notorious behavior of hers came back to haunt her. Coming shortly after her kidney problem deteriorated in February 2021 causing her to lose control of her both her upper and lower extremities as well as her speech, fans suspected it was more spiritual than physical and urged her to seek the forgiveness of people she had offended.

After trying different means to get the forgiveness of Odumeje and Rita Edochie, her family finally took her to his church where they vowed not to forgive her, promising that she will die of her ailment.

Coming a few days after Grammy win, Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy has now said that he achieved it on his own.

In a couple of tweets posted on Saturday, March 20, 2021, the ‘Level Up’ crooner recalled how many Nigerians prayed for his downfall while appreciating God for not being man.

He then added saying, that his future kids will now be able to beat their chest that because their father did it on his own, they can do it on their own too.
