Here are some tips to notice and keep in mind whenever you are shooting picture or pictures.
• Background :
What is going to be show and display at the back of the picture you are taking is very important, make sure that the arrangement is well prepared and dirty and rough thing are out of the place. If the picture is not going to be edited and change the background with the means of graphic edit, then it's better to perfect your background.
• Light reflections:
When taking pictures, if you are shooting it yourself or not, make sure that your face is clear, you may have to turn to another side so that you will face the light reflection and your picture will come out neat.
• Make-up and dressing:
Use a mirror and let people rate you. Perfect your makeup and dresses always.
• Stand and Styles:
Mind your stand, don't stand or sit like a statue always use mature style if you are one!
• Face Orientation:
Everybody are photogenic its only depend how we oriented our face. Choose from the following, not everyone of these are good for everybody, know your own and don't be shy or reluctant to use it.
Show tooth
Show teeth
Smile
Laugh
Open your eyes and bold it
Down your eyes a little
Push your head back a little
Pull your head front, down a little
Bend your head
Straight your head

And so on...
