Health / Ewe Nje Oogun Nje- Oogun Ti Ko Je, Ewe Re Lo Kukan by Aareago1: 8:07am On Apr 25, 2016
This page is created to demonstrate the power and efficacy in the use of roots and leafs as created by God for the use of mankind to address all physical and spiritual challenges faced in life generally.

The language of this thread shall be in Yoruba as all medicinal herbs' names shall be written purely in Yoruba Language. Efforts shall be made to explain certain things in English Language for the benefits of those who do not understand written-Yoruba very well.

Efforts shall equally be made to answer reasonable questions. Questions that are considered unreasonable and meaningless shall be ignored. Questions could be asked in English Language.

This page is for matured minds; dignity, honour and respect shall be the watch-words of everyone to make the discussion interesting and beneficial to all.

If you need any charm or medicine outside the ones given out freely, then, you shall be charged a token, but be assured that you will get full value for that token. Get it right please- you can request for any charm/medicinal herbs, but where the request is considered extra special, then a token will be charged.

Kindly note that, as the creator of this page, I am not an herberlist, babalawo, Olosanyin or an alfa, so, I do not consult for people. If you explain your physical and spiritual challenges, I will only try to suggest way-out with the use of roots and leafs. It is God that heals- man only tries.

Everyone is free to post here, but please make sure all charms/medicinal herbs are potent, tried, tested and confirmed in order not to make people loose their money or cause serious harm to themselves.

Welcome on board and thanks for taking time to participate.

^ Your point is noted.

But I didn't in anyway said his ooguns are fake. I actually tried some and they all work.

I just want people to be cautious of doing ooguns anyhow. Well, since my post is apparently construed kindly edit your quote.

@Lionhearted The points in my posts are divided into 2:
1. When we observe a mistake or errors, we should
point it out without condemnation, not after an
irredeemable damage has been done.
2. We need to appreciate others who share their
secret knowledge. Several others protect their
own jealousy.

I never quoted you out of context. I stand by my opinion.

Lionhearted:
I have tried many of healthfirst Ooguns and they all worked. I am grateful to him for that.

Having said that, we also have to understand where Ifankaleluya is coming from. Some of the Ooguns here doesn't corresponds to the purpose and the ofos mentioned with them. How do I know this? In January I was opportuned to meet an Alfa in a bus travelling to Ibadan. The said Alfa was reading a book that is exclusively full of Ooguns, their uses and taboos.

I showed the Alfa this thread. He said I should seek a second opinion because some of the Ooguns here are wrong. Curiously he endorsed all of kadunasouth's saying 'this is someone that know what he is doing'.

An incomplete or wrong Oogun is capable of wrecking a great havoc in a human's life hence the need for caution.

Healthfirst has a wealth of information concerning African Science no doubt, but a misrepresentation of one is or not isn't good.

Ifankaleluya, we know you are a babalawo but we will appreciate it more if you can be posted what will be beneficial to us all.

Btw healthfirst, all the Ooguns you posted here are saved by me in a doc file. Thanks.

It is a big shame you are revealing your findings after the thread has been expunged. That is the problem with people. It was a fundamental issue raised by that alfa you had an encounter with. The noble thing you could have done is to contact Healthfirst privately either via whatsapp or e-mail and tell him of someone's observation regarding some of his postings. This is the same thing Ifankaleluya failed to do that led to the deletion of the thread.

Even if a student knows more than the teacher, there must be dignity, honour and respect in not only pointing to errors, but giving corrections where necessary and constructively too. I did not see it anywhere and here particularly where Healthfirst paraded himself as a priest, and if he opens up privately to someone, that secrecy must be preserved. If we see errors, we are duti-bound to call the attention of the author and give our own objective and express opinion. If you say something is fake, then show us the real original thing.

Conclusively, Yoruba science is far and wide, just like any other science. No one knows it all. The use of one item that I know, could be very different from the use that you know of. Don't forget that before most of these charms were documented, their efficacy were tried, tested and confirmed okay- that is the same process a research goes through. Anybody can invent a charm; get two or three ingredients, grind or burn them together and use it, if it works, fine- you claim the copyright ownership. We should not be lazy; let us think and do things on our own. Where we have no time or grace to do that, we need to appreciate those who do it. If they give it out freely, let us be grateful, and if they decide to charge a token, let us oblige or if we cannot afford it, let us try our luck elsewhere. Nothing is free nowadays, not even in Freetown.
