Evernote is an app that allows the people to save an article or web page for later reading. The article is then stored on the user’s Pocket list for later or offline reading. This is just like you saving something in your normal pocket and retrieving it later when you need it for instance let’s say You were reading an article on your phone and was interrupted by say your sister, all you have to do is put them in pocket and come back later to read it.

3. Duolingo

Family7 Simple Ways To Deal With A Disagreement Effectively by Aaree(op): 12:43pm On May 06, 2016
In every relationship, personal or professional, there will always be some disagreement. You will never find an environment where people always agree and that understand each other. That's fantasy, not reality.

As a leadership coach I spend a lot of time working with my clients helping them deal with breakdowns in communication--and truly, a lot of disagreements amount to a breakdown in communication.

Here are seven very simple but effective ways I've learned over the years for dealing productively with disagreement.

1. Seek to understand. People tend to disagree when they don't understand each other. When one party is so busy wanting to be heard and doesn't spend any time trying to understand, disagreement is right around the corner. When you come to an understanding that most of us are more alike then we are different, you can begin to tolerate and accommodate--even appreciate--a different point of view. So first, seek to understand and appreciate. That does not mean you have to agree, just that you're open to hearing them out.

2. Look beyond your own triggers. Many disagreements stem from someone being triggered by something that's been said. What's triggered is usually fear and awareness of one's limitations. Whatever may have happened in your past, you have to find a way to get past your triggers and see that you're in a new situation with a person who doesn't mean you harm.

3. Look for similarities, not differences. From working with my clients, I've found that the best way to begin resolving a disagreement is to look for common ground. When you concentrate on differences the space grows wider, but when you seek out what you have in common it helps bridge the gap. The next time you find yourself in a disagreement, look for a point of agreement--even if you have to stretch.

4. Be a good listener. In any disagreement, it's important for both parties to be heard. And that means it's important to be a good listener-- curious, open minded and nonjudgmental. A good listener gives their full attention, asks for clarification when necessary, and can listen to different opinions without becoming defensive or argumentative. The best way to listen is to be silent. That's when you can learn.

5. Take responsibility for your own feelings. Especially in heated disagreements, it's easy to start making accusations, laying blame and making excuses. To work through it, you have to be honest with yourself and take full responsibility for your own feelings, and for your interpretations that may have contributed to the breakdown.

6. Make a commitment. In times of intense disagreement, it's not uncommon for one or both parties to have one foot out the door. If you want to truly get to the heart of the matter, make sure the other person understands your commitment to the relationship. Even if you have an issue with the behavior, you have to keep that separate.

7. Use positive language. No one wants to be called names or to be called out in a negative way, or to hear all the bad things they have done in the past. If you are speak in negatives, you will hurt the person and shut them down. if you can bring positivity to what you are trying to say, it's far more likely that you'll be heard, and that the disagreement can be resolved more quickly and easily.

Disagreements are a way of life, but they don't have to cause havoc. Try these techniques and work it out--faster, better and quicker.

Have you reached that point in your career where you feel stagnant? Are you ready to make a change and go after your dream job? Well, good for you! It’s big step in your career and life to be mentally prepared to make this leap.

But you must first address a couple key questions before making a big career change (especially one with such high expectations.) First, what is your dream job? And second, but equally as important, is that job truly right for you?

Being able to reconcile the job you want with the one that’s the right fit is typically a difficult moment for job seekers. You need to do your research and see what opportunities you’re genuinely passionate about, then make sure those positions support the ultimate goals of your career trajectory.

Once you’re sure of your convictions and know you have a goal in mind that’s right for you, then it’s time to follow the path that will set you up to land the opportunity you’ve been dreaming of. Follow this strategy to secure your dream job.

1.Put job descriptions and company reviews to work
Most job seekers know they have millions of job postings at their fingertips. Look at these as valuable resources to help you conduct research in the field you’re hoping to break into.

When reviewing job descriptions, look for recurring skills or competencies. Determine which ones you possess and which you need to build upon to be qualified for your dream job.

Company reviews are also a great resource. Similar to Yelp reviews for restaurants, company reviews provide a platform through which former employees can rate where they have worked. You can use tools such as Indeed Employee Reviews to see what other employees think about the culture, work-life balance, mobility within the organization and more.

Remember, it’s just as important to find the right position for you as it is to find the right organization. Your dream job must also fit your work style and provide an environment you can succeed in.

2.Get smart about networking
You already know the right relationships with key individuals in the industry you want to work can be crucial in landing your dream job. But you may struggle to figure out how to engage those individuals.

First, think about the networks you already belong to. Can these you expand your networking within those organizations? Have you tried to align with alumni groups from your university? There may be individuals who fulfill a similar role to the job you’re looking for.

Another networking tactic can be to find people who already have the job you want. Find out what organizations they’re involved in — and join them. Meetups or industry events that nurture these types of networking interactions are other places to find the right people to build connections with.

3.Scale up your competition
To land your dream job (or any job, for that matter), you have to prove you’re a better fit for a particular position than other candidates. When building your resume, think about how you can set yourself apart from the competition for this specific job.

Try out online tools like Indeed Resume, where you can view the resumes of other job seekers to compare and contrast resume format, skill set and other unique qualifiers.

4.Set yourself up for success
A dream job needs to be the right fit both both sides. By the right using tools to help identify that perfect match, you’re already setting yourself up for success in your job search.

If you do your research and work hard to present yourself in a way that makes sense for the organization, you’ll shine in the interview process — and will be well on your way to making your dream job a reality.

Business10 Things Successful People Do To Achieve Their Dreams by Aaree(op): 9:03am On Jul 22, 2015
1. They set goals and follow through on them.
It is one thing to set a goal and it’s another thing to achieve that goal. Almost everyone sets goals but only a few possess the guts and discipline to follow through on those goals. At the beginning of every year, we all make resolutions about things we want to start or stop doing. If you look back to the first day of this year, can you proudly say that you have achieved 40% of your goals? Anthony Robbins is a very good example of someone who knows how to follow through on his goals. This amazing guy went from earning $38,000 to $1 Million in just one year. The great oil billionaire H.L. Hunt once said that there are only two real requirements for success: first, he said, is to decide exactly what is it you want, second is to determine the price you are going to have to pay and resolve to pay that price. Obey this rule and you will be successful; ignore it and you will remain a local champion.

2. They are consistent.
Malcolm Gladwell popularized the idea that 10,000 hours of guided practice is the key to success. While some scientists may not totally agree with that principle, I believe that there is more truth in it than lies. For you to become truly excellent at whatever it is you do, you need to be consistent at it. Cherish every opportunity you have to do what you love and do it well. All successful people know this secret.

3. They make the best of every situation.
Horatio G. Spafford had just lost his son to scarlet fever and his lifetime investments were lost in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. On a trip to Europe in 1873, his wife and four daughters were involved in a tragic ship wreck which claimed the life of his four daughters. After the incident, Horatio’s wife, Anna sent him a telegram to inform him of the accident. On receiving Anna’s telegram, Horatio immediately left Chicago to bring his wife home. Sailing across the Atlantic Ocean the captain of the ship called Horatio to the bridge. He informed Horatio that they were now passing the spot where his daughters drowned. That night, alone in his cabin, Horatio Spafford wrote one of the greatest hymns of all time “It is well with my soul”. He turned adversity into advantage and for that reason; he became one of the few men of his time that are still remembered today. If you are going to become successful, you must be ready and able to make the best of every situation because tough times will definitely come.

4. They take responsibility for their lives.
Nothing ever happens to us by chance. Our life today is a reflection of our past decisions and the choices we make today will shape our future. In the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” (2006), the story of Chris Gardner was told. Christopher Paul Gardner’s childhood was marked by poverty, violence, alcoholism, sexual abuse, and family illiteracy. He didn’t even know his father and he was taken away from his mother at a very tender age, as he lived in foster homes for a large part of his childhood. He is now a CEO, investor, motivational speaker, author, and philanthropist. In fact, his book spent over twenty weeks on the New York Times best seller list and has been translated into more than forty languages. You can see that despite his unfortunate childhood, he didn’t accept the fate he was handed. He took responsibility for his life and he resolved to make a difference. He used what he had to get what he wanted.

5. They form valuable relationships.
Behind every successful Steve Jobs is a Steve Wozniak and there is a Paul Allen behind every successful Bill Gates. You need to have people that will help you achieve your dreams; believe me, you can’t do it alone. You need mentors, partners, employees, spouse and so on. Some of the criteria for finding good partners and mentors are compatibility, experience, similar values, loyalty, and mutual benefit among many others.

6. They make unusual sacrifices.
A man was born in 1918; he disappeared from view in 1964 after giving a four-hour speech at his trial where he was convicted and received a life sentence. He spent 27 years in prison because he wouldn’t compromise his political beliefs. Released in 1990, he won a Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, became the president of South Africa in 1994, and has since then received more than 250 other honors. As you have probably guessed, his name is Nelson Mandela. He made a huge sacrifice for his nation and he finally got what he had dreamt about for over three decades.
Let me tell you another story. In order to generate $1,350 in capital they used to start Apple, Steve Jobs sold his Volkswagen microbus and Steve Wozniak sold his Hewlett-Packard calculator. They each made what was then a big sacrifice but it was really a small price to pay considering the fact that Apple is currently worth over $80 Billion. You need to make your own sacrifices now so that people can tell your story in the years to come.

7. They never give up.
Real estate mogul Donald Trump is currently worth over $2.7 Billion, not bad considering the fact that he was previously indebted to the tune of $900 Million. The world didn’t end for him when he lost all he had and was bankrupt. He actually borrowed more money and kept trying until he made it.
Thomas Edison tried over 10,000 times to make a light bulb before he succeeded. We would probably still be in darkness now had he given up. The toughest card life deals you and me is the test of time. Only those with resilience and the willingness to persevere will pass this test.

8. They take risks.
Every successful man or woman is a risk taker. When we were children, the society and the people closest to us shaped our lives. For instance, your parents probably told you to go to school, finish with good grades and get a good job. Everything our society preaches to us is get security and this is why whenever you want to take any big decision in life or do something out of the ordinary, you get scared. The difference between a success and a failure is that a failure runs away from his fears while successful people run towards their fears. “Do one thing every day that scares you,” said Eleanor Roosevelt. If you don’t take that advice, you are never going to grow and you can as well forget about becoming successful.

9. They cherish hard work and discipline.
Brian Tracy defined self discipline as the ability to make yourself do what you should do when you should do it whether you feel like it or not. I write everyday not because writing is so interesting but because I have to do it if I’m going to succeed as a writer. You need to really develop this habit because there is no other way to become successful. Rose Blumkin founded Nebraska Furniture Mart which is now owned by Warren Buffet. She worked every day at her store till the age of 103; she got ‘work sick’ the only time she took a vacation for about a week. She knew the value of hard work. To become successful in life, you need to find what you love doing and do it with all your heart. “With faith, discipline and selfless devotion is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve,” said Muhammad Ali.

10. They create value.
Value attracts wealth and attention. Becoming successful can be simply defined as solving a problem. Find a problem that your skills, passion, dreams and potential are programmed to solve and solve that problem. Increasing demand for pizza better and faster access to pizza gave birth to pizza delivery. Business men and women needed faster means of transport to business meetings all around the world and boom, the private jet was made. You have been made to solve a particular problem, solve that problem and success will be yours.
All the points mentioned above are just principles and will not make you successful until you decide to make them habits. Make a decision to succeed today and nothing can stop you.

11. Being with them causes you to grow increasingly insecure, instead of the other way around.

12. You’re surprised if you ever notice that you’re actually laughing around them.

13. You feel like you behave differently in front of your friends when they’re around, and not in a good way.

14. When it comes to buying birthday or Christmas presents, you pick something up from the store at the last minute just to have something to give them, instead of putting a lot of thought into it and trying to come up with a gift that you know they would absolutely love.

15. When the two of you fight, it becomes less about getting to the root of the problem and more about who “wins” the fight.

16. One of you is always making all of the decisions, instead of it being an even 50/50 setup.

17. Spending time together usually means you’re both doing something else at the same time, like constantly playing on your phone, working on your laptop, watching tv, or anything else that takes your attention off of each other

1. You overthink every single thing you’re going to say before you say it, instead of feeling comfortable enough to blurt out whatever you want in front of them.

2. The two of you always feel defensive around one another, as if you’re both always ready to jump down each other’s throats over something.

3. You don’t really care if your friends or family like them.

4. Maybe subconsciously, you don’t care if your friends and family like them because you’re telling yourself this won’t last forever anyway.

5. You’re exhausted after hanging out with them, instead of relaxed and happy.

6. You feel tense when you go out to dinner, like you have to be constantly thinking on your feet so that you don’t run out of things to talk about.

7. When thinking about your future, you have to remember to try and include them in it instead of automatically including them without even thinking about it.

8. You feel relieved when they have to cancel plans and you get to hang out by yourself or with your friends instead.

9. You have no desire to grow or improve yourself when you’re around them. Instead, you feel like you could just stay in your current situation forever and neither one of you would care or notice.
