Hello Guys, so I got a passport request and it's been about a month now and I just got information about procedure failure.

I have to respond and it's due to fraudulent bank statement. I got an agent who told me he could help with bank statement..I did everything myself but the bank statement was just given to me and the letter of sponsorship by the agent. I need help on what to do.. need to respond to the mail.

I advice you just tell the truth if the doc was counterfeit... but confirm from the agent 1st.. if it's not, den ask for the agent to get u a letter from the bank stating the account is real.. I will also advice u pray and hope on God.. be positive cos you can still get this visa

U can't act ignorant of the fact u knew the statement was fraudulent and I think u no the consequences already so deal with it, it's better to tell the truth and be rejected than to be recognized as a fraud, u made ur bed so lie on it

How did you know he or she knew it was fraudulent...Could u be more polite in delivering your advice.. I won't tag this as an advice sef.. the person asked for wat to do, not to sound harsh... I dont like this..

I applied online since February and I submitted passport on 14th of June. I haven't heard anything too

I will advise you start praying more cos at this point, the lagos embassy is currently doing a secondary review of your application.. which is why it's delaying.. stay positive

I received a request to go for medicals and I did the tests at IOM Ikeja on the 3rd of July and my profile is yet to change as at today...has anyone experienced similar situation or does anyone know what the problem might be? Could it be that IOM is yet to forward the results to CIC?

Kindly mail IOM asking if they have sent the results.. if they have, den u have to be patient this week.. after this week and no change on your profile.. kindly mail CIC about it..

Good morning everyone, I am new here. A friend recently introduced me to this thread. I have a quick question, and sorry if it has been asked before.
I applied through the paper route on may 15th 2019, but linked it online June 13th. When I did, I saw that my background check and eligibility review were both running concurrently, and since then I haven't received any update.
I sent a web form last Tuesday, but didn't get any reply not even an email to acknowledge that they got the web form. This is the 8th week BTW.
Now my question is this, is it advisable to send them an email? Has anyone been in this situation and got a positive reply by sending an email? Or should I send another web form?

Send a mail, its better and possibly of a response is higher... u are already on the 8week.. if u send the mail and no response in 3-4days, keep bombarding them with mails or kindly order for your gcms note to give u a better understanding of the long delay
