Apple doesn’t really believe in detailed instruction manuals, so some handy tricks slip through the cracks. One such trick we’ve recently discovered is that you can move multiple app icons at once on iOS. Here’s how.

On the Home Screen, tap and hold an app icon until it starts to jiggle. Be careful not to press too firmly or you’ll activate 3D Touch.

Next, tap and drag one icon to start moving it around the Home Screen.

To add another app, use another finger to tap its icon while you’re still holding down the first icon. Yes, you have to use two fingers at once! And you can keep adding icons to the stack the same way.

You can then drag the stack of apps to wherever you want on your Home Screen.

And when you drop the stack, the icons fan out in the order they appear in the stack.

Leagoo's new phone does its best to rip off both Apple and Samsung at the same time.

It's probably not a surprise anymore when a Chinese company blatantly clones other phones to catch eyeballs, but you have to give it to Leagoo for having the gall to do it at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where Samsung's currently showing off its new Galaxy S9.

The phone in question, the Leagoo S9, basically is a $150 (around £110 and AU$190 converted) Android-powered device boasting a notch similar to the one found on Apple's iPhone X while sharing the same name as Samsung's latest. The notch apparently lets you unlock the phone with your face, but it doesn't appear to have the infrared dot projectors found on the iPhone X.

Other features include a 5.85-inch display, 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage as well as dual 13-megapixel rear cameras. That's actually pretty decent for its price, and mind you, you do get a iPhone X clone that you can proudly show off to your Samsung loving friends who may or may not have already preordered the new Galaxy S9.

But it's not fair to paint all Chinese electronics companies with the same brush, as some really are trying to innovate. Take Vivo, for instance. It showed off a new concept phone at MWC that features minimal bezels and a crazy, pop-up selfie camera.

You may be aware that Nokia announced quite a few new devices yesterday at MWC, including its new flagship - the Nokia 8 Sirocco. If you're in the US, however, you will unfortunately not be able to officially buy that handset, nor the
Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1, or Nokia 8110 4G.

HMD Global's CEO, Florian Seiche, has confirmed that the new batch of products isn't headed stateside. "It's not a core focus for this year, but certainly it is on our roadmap", he told CNET .

Nokia will definitely have to stop ignoring the US market at some point in the next few years, especially given the lofty ambitions Seiche has revealed. Nokia wants to be among the Top 5 smartphone manufacturers within three to five years.

For now, HMD is focusing on the regions where it's already successful, such as Europe, India, Indonesia, and Russia. The company claims to be in the Top 5 phone makers in 15 markets already.

Seiche: "That momentum that we are now creating in the markets where we are present helps us to capture attention from future possible customers or countries. We still have on our journey some big opportunities like the US to follow up on."

Nokia's return to the main stage at Mobile
World Congress isn't just about cashing in on nostalgia. HMD Global (which owns Nokia) announced that every Android phone it makes from now on will adhere to Google's updated Android Onestandard.

"Our entire range, with the exception of the Android Go Edition devices, will be Android One," said Juho Sarvikas, chief product officer for HMD Global. "We want to be even faster with the latest innovations and we want to join forces on going to market...That's the reason why Nokia phones will be joining Android One."

What Android One means in 2018 is not what it did in 2014. Back then it meant low-cost phones for emerging markets; now it means high performance, solid battery life, durable design, guaranteed updates, and a bloatware-free stock Android experience.

It's as much of a branding exercise for Google as anything else. Fabian Teichmueller, head of Android Partnerships at Google in the UK, describes it as a "seal of approval" from Google. But for MHD Global, it's a way of announcing to the world that Nokia's here to stay this time.
According to Sarvikas, "Every smartphone coming from Nokia is going to be part of Android One…Now we have all of the capabilities to commit to this."

The three phones announced at Mobile World Congress—the New Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco—are all Android One devices, and should receive timely software updates as Google's mobile OS evolves.

Nokia’s 8110 — the distinctive ‘candy bar’ feature phone with a slider opening — was once the phone that everyone wanted but no one could afford, made popular through the Matrix film franchise. Now HMD, the company that has the license to make Nokia phones, is hoping for a hit by bringing it back. Today, at MWC in Barcelona, Nokia officially took the wraps off the new 8110 — a new feature phone that will come with 4G connectivity and a selected group of apps such as Google’s Assistant, Maps, and Search; as well as Facebook and Twitter (and yes, Snake). It also comes with a battery life befitting of feature phones: 17 days, with 9 days of talk time. The 8110 comes in “banana yellow” (in keeping with its “banana” curved design) and black.
This is the second feature phone that HMD has announced since picking up the licensing deal with Nokia for feature and smart phones. The first, the 3310, has been a big hit for HMD. The company told TechCrunch that it is currently the leading handset maker in the feature phone category, part of a bigger milestone, selling 70 million devices overall in 2017. That figure includes both feature and smart phones; and while the company does not break out specific models or categories publicly, it described feature phones to TechCrunch as the “bigger runner” within that number.
“This gives us a responsibility to innovate in this part of the business, to bring something new to consider in feature phones going forward,” said Pekka Rantala, EVP and CMO of HMD Global said in an interview. “It was very clear that we needed to be able to deliver and keep the Nokia promise when it comes to quality, reliability and ease of use.”
Juho Sarvikas, CPO of HMD Global, described the 8110 as a “vacation” phone when people might want to switch off from being continuously connected. And indeed, this has found a counterpart in Silicon Valley, where has been a big wave of thought among tech people who now believe that the continuous connectivity of smartphone life has detrimental effects.
“There is a huge population of feature phone loyalists,” Sarvikas said. “We see a lot of potential in innovating in the feature phone space, not a simple redesign of the [older] 2G experience.”
As with the previous iteration of the 8110 from many years back, the slide feature is used to answer and hang up on calls, along with voice-over-LTE calling, an app store and a Qualcomm 205 processor.

Now there’s finally a root-free solution that offers all the best features in one package.
The Rootless Pixel Launcher 3.0 is available for any device running Android 5.0 Lollipop and up. Beyond the usual Pixel 2 perks, it also includes some of the enhancements Android modders have come to expect from other launchers, along with a few extra improvements from the app’s creator, Amir Zaidi.
One of the biggest reasons to install the launcher is At a Glance, a special Pixel 2 widget that shows your next calendar event on your home screen at all time right next to the weather. In an age where every device has a microphone and they’re made by companies who love to track what you’re doing, these are valid questions. Let’s take a look at the facts behind Google recordings and how you can stop them.
How Is Google Listening?
Before we continue, we should explain what exactly Google records from your Android device.
If you have a certain setting enabled on your phone, saying OK Google will cause it to listen for a command. Before you say this wake phrase, your phone is listening for the OK Google hotword, but it is not recording everything you say and uploading it to Google. Just like with concerns over the Amazon Echo, constantly recording everything a device hears would result in enormous amounts of useless data.
Even if you don’t have the OK Google hotword enabled, you can still use voice commands (that Google records too). Tapping the microphone icon on the search bar or holding the Home button to open Google Assistant will both immediately prompt you for a voice command.
What Google does record are the voice commands you say to your phone. If you say OK Google, how old is Jack Black?, Google holds onto the question and a few seconds of prior audio.
How Do I Listen to My Google Recordings?
Google provides a portal for you to view all your interactions with its services. This includes voice recordings of your interactions with Google Assistant. To review them:
Head to the Google My Activity page. You’ll see everything from YouTube videos you just watched to apps you’ve opened on your phone.
Apply a filter to only show voice recordings. Click Filter by date & product at the top under the search bar.
Next, uncheck All products under Filter by Google product and check only Voice & Audio.
Click the Search button again
You’ll then see a timeline of all the recordings Google has of your voice starting with the most recent. It bundles close events together — click a bundle to expand it and then hit Play to listen to the recording.
How Do You Turn Off Google Recording?
You can disable Google’s voice recording in two different ways.
Turn Off OK Google on Your Phone
The first is to turn off the OK Google detection on your phone, which you can do by performing the following:
Open Settings on your phone and enter the Google category.
Select Search under Services.
Next, tap Voice.
You’ll see a Voice Match entry; this may also be listed as “OK Google” detection. Tap that.
Disable the Say “Ok Google” any time slider. You may also want to disable While driving to prevent it in Google Maps and Android Auto, though it is convenient in those scenarios.
Once you do this, Google Assistant will only respond to OK Google when you have the Google app open (or when on the home screen of a Pixel or Nexus device). Your phone thus will no longer always be listening for the hotword.

Messaging app WhatsApp has finally rolled out its new WhatsApp Business app in Nigeria. The app which is currently available for Android, is now available for Nigerians to download via the Google Play store . It is compatible with devices running Android 4.0.3 and above. A version with similar features is also expected to be available for iOS devices (iPhone) in the coming future.
WhatsApp had previously announced the app’s arrival and begun verifying business accounts as part of its WhatsApp Business pilot program back in September 2017. Before now, the company has been testing the beta version of WhatsApp Business in select countries which include US, UK, Italy, Indonesia, and Mexico.
Targeted at small businesses, the WhatsApp for Business app allows business owners to connect with their customers and be a part of the messaging platform that has over 1.3 billion users worldwide. Unlike the original WhatsApp app, the business-centric offering allows businesses to create their own Whatsapp business profiles with information such as business description, email, or store addresses, and website.
The app also has features that include whatsapp verified business account listing, labels – for sorting contacts, messaging tools such as quick replies, greeting messages and away messages. Further, there are metrics such as the number of messages sent, delivered, read and WhatsApp Web support to let businesses send and receive messages directly through a computer.
In terms of some major similarities with the original WhatsApp Messenger, the WhatsApp Business app allows businesses to set privacy for their profile photo, about information, and status as well as lets them block any of their contacts and enable read receipts. The app also has a live location feature that helps companies share their live location with their clients and customers.
It addition, the whatsapp business mobile application allows businesses to make voice and video calls. Notably, the app offers end-to-end encryption for all the messages and calls it circulates to restrict any third-party access.

Security researchers have now discovered a new piece of malware, dubbed GhostTeam , in at least 56 applications on Google Play Store that is designed to steal Facebook login credentials and aggressively display pop-up advertisements to users.
