ogakpatakpata: @Abba...........Myself and Justi4jesu has fully explained all the hidden clauses about VISIT & TOURIST VISA, l will advise you to either go to emirates or etihad airlines and tell them you want 1month visit/tourist visa, although, the Visa might not read visit but they will understand what you mean, you dont have to have anybody in dubai to get the visa, ETIHAD or EMIRATE AIRLINES WILL BE YOUR SPONSOR.....read carefully what justi4jesu posted and also read my submissions, we have done justice to your questions....enjoy your day...

you rilly made my day im so gr8full, my last qeastion is can the one month tourist/visit visa be extended wen i get to dubai because i need up to 2months or will it be possible to apply for a 2months direct visit visa as u did?

ogakpatakpata: @justi4jesu............all you stated above as regard obtaining the visit or tourist visa is correct; the confusion seems to be from the UAE itself, because both of the visa (visit and tourist visa), the word TOURIST is boldly inscribed on the centre of your visa , you wont find the word VISIT VISA, l also think they should come out with a proper clarifications, if you look at most companies and organisation in Dubai, you will hear them saying dont come with TOURIST VISA because it cannot be converted if you secure a job, personally, l have heard that from different organisations and because of the nature of my Job and my relationship with my HR/PRO, my organisation have had cause to refuse employing some applicants who wanted to work with us because they came with tourist visa, l do hear my HR saying he cannot employ with tourist visa.

if you check your visa, you wont see anywhere they wrote VISIT VISA and this is where the confusion comes from, on a second thought , am thinking maybe, they use the ENTRY PERMIT NUMBER which is a 15digit number to distinguish between the visa categories when it is been processed for RESIDENT VISA.

If we are to go by the UAE LAW, they can only convert your visit visa to employment visa, so my thought is that although, your visa might read TOURIST, it is actually a VISIT VISA. The same way l was issued 2months direct visit/tourist visa from Nigeria. The UAE need to really come out with a policy statement to distinguish between all this visa categories..it is better they boldly inscribe on your visa either VISIT or TOURIST.

please house i want to come to dubai with a visit visa to find job but i dnt have any contact their to act as sponsor, if i just apply for the 60days visit visa with etihad without any sponsor in dubai is they any chance for me getting it? Since they said i cant get job with tourist visa in dubai

the job is not that bad just that the pay is not much as its usually contacted, will be given a staffline and if lucky up to 2k5 airtime depending on the contractor ur working with, close by 5pm monday to friday, 10am to 2pm on satdays, will undergo 2-3weeks training with mtn on customer service, product and service, quality assurance etc before they will create access for you to log into thier system to resolve customers querries, sim swaps, etc with applications in the system after your training, please how did you apply? help a brother out here is ma email avecoclub@yahoo.ca waiting for your response. thanks
