I just acquired a plot of land in Lagos mainland (about 776 sq mmtrs going by the approved survey)and instucted my architect to give me a good design of a six bed room duplex with two flats of 2 bedroom each storey building in front while the duplex will be at the back. I am a novice in building and have heard people talk about soil test. Please is soil test a must? Also, i feel that the 200k the architect charged me is too much. Though he claimed he will do prototype and 3-D design. I hope to track all my cost on this thread and update you guys.
