Hi guys. My UK visit visa was refused yesterday.
My application was air tight - if I do say so myself.
However, the officers reason was that he checked my employers business registration online and it was inactive. I work for a company with over 250 employees
When I checked the registration website , realized that almost all companies register before 2020 were appearing as inactive. The website isn’t updated.
Please house, what can be done in this situation ?

Hello! I’m in the same predicament. Please how did you go about it?? I and my husband were rejected for inactive company. Have you reapplied?

So sorry about your refusal.I think once it’s filed and and /acknowledgment recieved from Cac .and all other parameters with your application still remains intact you are good to go.

Why was the company inactive? Is the company still trading? No point in re-applying if that part isn’t sorted.

I plan to correct that by filing annual returns with cac. I really want to know if this has happened to anyone and they were given the visa after rectifying it and also how they went about it. Anyone can pm me with suggestions too. Thank you

Good day guys. Please I need your help. My husband and I got refused uk visitor visa today. Find attached our refusal letter. They said my husband’s cac documents says inactive and I was rejected because he is being rejected. Kindly advice on the next course of action as we really want to go for the vacation. We have both been to the US. I had my 2 kids in the US but I don’t have a valid us visa. They wrote something about history. Attached is the letter. Should we reapply?? Or just leave them be. Our accounts are very well funded btw. He’s very capable of sponsoring the trip as personal account has more than 15m. I need suggestions please, for them to say funds are not available doesn’t make sense.

Your post does not have an attachment, I am not sure you made an error in posting in the US group.

You may wish to ask your husband to ensure he files for his annual returns at CAC and make the payment for the years that are pending..The moment this is done , I believe the status will change to Active .

Secondly , although his balance may be 15M but if he has lump sums deposited in his personal account he needs to explain the source .

Seeing the content of the letter may help to know how best to go about it .
