clarocuzioo:How is Tinubu a drug Baron? State an identified case of drugs against him or just keep quiet! Debates are not won by just spewing trash about people. Come with facts please. Bullion van? Was it that missing Nigerian money that the van was carrying Is there any law that stops individuals from using bullion van to convey money from one place to another? |
tsdarkside:Can you please explain what you mean here by motivating others to mutiny? |
Difrent:Go and read that post again. Then read it again and again. Maybe you'll get the point! |
meobizy:That's all you can understand from the post . It's obvious you can't read between the lines! |
yomi007k:You miss the point here obviously! |
Guestlander:You obviously miss the point! |
WHY I NEVER JOINED THE ARMY. I had the opportunity on several occasions to join the Nigerian Army. I was told I have everything it takes to make it even to the top of the ranks and file of the military in Nigeria. All that was needed of me was just to say yes and people will shake the ground to make it happen. Why did I turned down a career that someone else is praying and wishing to grab? Why did I choose the part of family life and true justice to brute Force and turbulence? Well. I don't think it's possible for a soldier to have a settled life for a start. Transfers and calls to duty separates a soldier from family ALWAYS! Actually the main reason why I chose not to be a soldier is because I refuse to be involved in the global blood sucking business of fighting wars. Wars are the after effects of greed, ambitions, hate and economic dominance! People start wars only for selfish reasons. It all started when one man covets the property of another and wish he could have it by hook or crook. It only took a while before it went from man to man into family to family, community to community, tribe versus tribe, then the biggest of them all; Nation rising against Nation. There has never been a winner in wars. Only survivors. Only people who are alive to tell the gory stories of all that went down during the blood sucking time of war. War has never settled anything ever. It has only help change the course of history from time to time. Worst of it is that even religious books were written to paint God even as a God of war. (Something I have always objected). I know some may argue we need soldiers to defend against external forces. My question therefore is. Why are these external forces at war with us? It's simple. Greed! Covetousness! Hate! Economical gains and rewards! And many evil reasons. Why do we have to fight if we can all co-exist as co-inhabitants of the place called Earth? Shouldn't we all only be separated by our cultures and traditions, but United by the common trait that connects us: Humanity! I choose not to make myself available for a government to use me to kill my brother from another mother and country! Imagine drawing guns and arrows against someone I have nothing against just because our country is at war! Imagine destroying the homes and source of livelihood of my people from another race just because I want to acquire their wealth? Imagine invading a country and killing innocent people (including women and children) just because their government and mine have some sort of diplomatic quarrels that could not be settled amicably? I will never allow myself to be used as an agent of destruction. Soldiers are trained to kill and not to protect. Every evil government of the world needs soldiers to protect themselves and oppress weaker nations if the need arises. If only we choose love and harmony. If only we choose co-existing peacefully. But because I can't be a soldier in this now dangerous world doesn't mean I will allow anyone hurt me or my family. Don't even dare. We are the real street generals. We defend our family with all we got but will never enter into a war we are not part of or knows nothing about. We don't allow ourselves to be used for selfish gains. |
Martinez39s:Probably you read the comment in part or you probably played down the part where he said some lecturers deserves panel beating. That's the part people are talking about. That part you are choosing to ignore is as much important! |
Elsueno:Colleague ko I ain't a lecture bro. I'm just anti unnecessary violence! |
Incandescent:Chai! That was too hash ![]() |
Elsueno:What will you have gained if you had physically assaulted him? Taking the right step will always justify you at the end. Taking the wrong approach might give you temporary attention, but you will always pay dearly in the end! |
ChiefSosa:Bro the red letters in the comment did not remove the part you said some lecturers deserves panel beating. That thought alone nullifies the other statement where you try to tone it down by saying you do not support. That sentence alone could motivate another young mind to think his/her own lecturer is one of such that deserves the panel beating. If you don't support it, then don't say anything in it's favor. Condemn it outrightly! |
ChiefSosa:My point is still that a$$ whooping! I hate settling any by beating anyone except in the case of self defense only. It's the animal in us that believes in beating or bullying others to make any point! |
Stormtrooper11:Please which one is Nigerian negro again abeg ![]() |
Malory:Very childish feeling ![]() |
irunoko:Your comment didn't sound that way. Besides, she doesn't look bad for 60s. Saying she looks her age without make up and wigs was what got me. Has aunty Joke ever appear to you as someone who relies on heavy make up and attachments to look beautiful ![]() |
Efna55:On the road abi? Maybe you didn't see the video. |
ChiefSosa:You did not support it but made an observation that some lecturers need panel beating. That's the mindset I'm talking about! That thought alone is the foundation. |
NwaAmaikpe:You people are the real problem. Na your life? What is the crime in giving his family a nice time? Abi you forget say they are also is children? |
Mercychen:Are you sure of this? |
Arkmanbuddy:Na you carry the matter for head like this. So you expect him not to be able to show love to his nieces because of one "beef" with their dad? Grow up abeg ![]() |
ChiefSosa:This thought already shows your mindset. Anyone who thinks beating someone to make a statement is ok needs brain evaluation ![]() |
irunoko:So what's that her age oo if she looks her age without make-ups and all? |
Penguin2:I smell Tribalism here ![]() |
Asgard73:Buhari is the greatest undoing of Tinubu. This is a great problem he has to deal with! |
Obviously Bola Hammed Tinubu is not a saint. Far from it. Infact morally I don't think he will score high. He has had his name dragged here and there over many issues, either politically or otherwise (E.g Lekki shooting). He is really detested by many for even supporting a government like this and helping to bring Buhari to power. Of course Jagaban played a card that worked well in removing PDP from power. Could his intention to run for presidency be responsible for supporting the incubent? Looks like that now! If this is the case, let's take a look at what Bola Tinubu represents as an administrator and not just a politician. Remember he was the executive governor of Lagos State between 1999-2007. How did he performed as an executive governor in charge of a vast state like Lagos State. Before Tinubu came to power, Lagos State was been ran by military administrators. Civil service of Lagos was just a very dry and so under paid work force. I remember my primary and secondary school days. Our teachers were so poor that they do all sort of things just to survive and still hold their jobs. There was no pride in being a civil servant in Lagos then. Their hope was gratuities and pensions. Fast forward this to Bola Tinubu as the governor of Lagos State. I will not say much on this, but you just try ask any civil servant that worked with Tinubu and they will tell you what they know about how the man treated them while in office. His time as the governor of Lagos State was so faced with strong forces hell bent on making him fail as the governor of Lagos. The head of such moves against him was PDP, actively headed by Olusegun Obasanjo, the then President of Nigeria. Obasanjo refuse to support the constitutional rights of Bola Tinubu to create local governments. He went as far as withholding federal revenues that is rightly for Lagos just to destabilize Tinubu's government and create a loophole in his administration. If we are sincere enough, we will see how Bola Tinubu still did wonders even without the federal allocations. Tinubu had a great plan to make Lagos a mega city. The blueprint was airtight and perfect on paper and ready to be easily worked by anyone in that office if faithfully followed. Obasanjo made sure Tinubu couldn't give lagosians the dividends of democracy as planned. Instead of lamenting and crying fowl, Tinubu got to work. He started creating opportunities for Lagos to make money and survive even without any federal interventions. His commissioners were like governors in their own rights. Lagos stood out and was still the state to beat even with been the most under funded or not even funded at all. First. We witnessed a very robust civil service. Teachers started getting car loans, and even started building houses. Their reward stopped to be in heaven cause they started to get it here on Earth. Tinubu created the highest jobs than any governor during his time as governor. He created Lekki and Ajah as we know it today by collaborating with banks to build a place where the rich can stay comfortably. After building homes for the rich, he was able to lure many Nigerians in diaspora to come and buy homes and invest in real estate here at home. Many people came back to Lagos Nigeria because Tinubu created that atmosphere for them. That move is still one of the secrets of Lagos as the most prosperous state in Nigeria. By standard, Lagos still the remains the pacesetter state. This is said by not undermining the great achievements of other states, but as a fact looking at the financial strength and capacity of Lagos State. Lagos that Tinubu left to his boys is still the most prosperous state in Nigeria even years after he's left office. Remember their is a blueprint. Trust me Lagos is working! Tinubu understands what been an executive administrator is. He has done it in Lagos Nigeria! His legacies is still what keeps Lagos State in the forefront. Point is this. Tinubu knows how to bring prosperity. We need prosperity in this land. We need someone who truly knows how to govern well and still play politics. I am not campaigning for Tinubu, but I wouldn't mind to see what the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom can do at that top! Where are the other 30 something governors that governed the different states in Nigeria from 1999-2007? Truth is, they are either silent from politics, or licking backsides to remain politically relevant and paid! Tinubu the strategist has something to offer. Trust me. A blind Tinubu is better than a seeing Buhari. |
bcomputer101:Why not leave it to God then! If God forgives him then who are you again to complain here and even tag him a rebel? |
temitope27:Are you bold enough to show your face here so we can see how spotlessly handsome/beautiful you are before you start badmouthing a creature like you! If you can't, then just shut up and stop body shaming ![]() |
twilliamx:You started off, but ended it right! Kudos!!! |
Urbanchampion:Is it a crime to be optimistic as a Nigerian ![]() |
Ebi2233:You tell us what he told him since it's obvious you know! |
SmartPolician:What exactly do you understand by the word news? Isn't it a new story? Is this not one ![]() |
