They're also contesting because they're Nigerians and have a constitutional right to do so.

We're in a democracy where anyone can contest, whether they're good or bad. It's then now depends on people to decide who they choose without bullying, intimidation, abuse or gaslighting.

Who do you have in mind and under what party?

My daughter wanted to study medicine since last year, but she only scored 262 in Jamb and this is her WAEC: Physics A1, Maths A1, English C6, Biology B3, Chemistry B2.

But according to the people who run admissions, we were told that she would not be accepted for medicine because of her Jamb results and the aggregate, so I convinced her to change to nursing.

Then we made a terrible mistake of relying on a blood sister whose husband is a top administrator at Osun State University. She said she should change her choice of school to Osun even when we already know that the aggregate still can't do nursing at Osun State University but can be accepted in another school, but we followed her advice.

Unfortunately, we waited till everything closed while she gave us assurance, but she was not giving admission.

This is really painful, but we accept fate and enrolled her for another Jamb lesson, and now this year, she manages to scored 274 in Jamb...

My fear now is to not repeat the same mistake of last year, and that's the reason I came here to seek your best idea and input.

Which schools, aside from private universities, can she use this result to study medicine? Or if none, which school can she enter for nursing? Because I don't want her to waste another year.
