Today, we will learn how this beautiful ruffled gown was made.

This style can be analyzed into 3 main sections or parts.

First part - The basic bodice which comprises of the bustier section and off shoulder sleeve.

Second part - The basic skirt which involve the waist, Hip and darts (optional). Click this link to know how the basic skirt is been achieved

- Back M
- Bust CF
- Waist CF
- Hip CF
- Shoulder to bust, under bust, waist, Hip, kneel and floor
- Round shoulder M

As per how many years u can perfect sewing, it all depend on you. I have seen someone started sewing perfectly well after learning for 3 months. As per sewing machine, it depend on your pocket. You can start with butterfly black head machine and as time goes you get industrial sewing maching

Good evening everyone. Here is the basic bodice i promised yesterday. Enjoy

HOW TO CUT A BASIC BODICE BLOCK

Required Measurement
✅ Shoulder or back measurement
✅ Bust circumference and length
✅ Waist circumference and length
✅ Hip circumference and length
✅ Bodice Length

Get the list above measured round and divide everything by 4 except your shoulder which should be divided by 2. All these measurement are by circumference.

From the shoulder line, measure 8" downward to form ur upper bust line, measure 2" from there to form ur bust point line, measure 6 from there to form ur waist line and 8" to form ur hip line. All these measurement are by length

Note: The measurement above is mine, when u are making urs, measure ur client and apply it as said earlier.

Someone ask for this top to be illustrated and here it is.

It is a Kimono flare/peplum top, in which the sleeve is cut together with the bodice. It is very simple, If you wanna know how this style was achieved, take ur time to study the pictural guidelines.
