xtianh: These pictures depict the true look of streets in Lagos where people believe its a paradise going by what they read and hear on the radio and here in Nairaland. Please see some areas in the UK... You would not expect to find places like this in a developed country like this. We NIGERIANS are our own worst enemies, Fashola has done for Lagos what no other Governor has done. You cannot expect 100% transformation, its not possible. Rather than be critical let us learn to applaud the good in people. Shamefully you could only upload two bearly visible photos, please show us the more that is to come...

It is called "A PRIVATE UNIVERSITY" for a reason... It is a private enterprise, therefore the owner reserves the right to use his rules as he deems fit. The Uni is a Christian school, so the students must know what they signed up for!! No one should be complaining!! |

In his usual style of rewarding academic excellence, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has splashed N40 million on members of the church who graduated with first class honors degree from different universities across the country. The event which is third in the series made the 77 graduates smile home with N 500,000 each. The previous first class graduates went home with a car each, but this year the number rose from 15 to 77 so Dr. Olukoya settled for cash, which they could use to further their education or start something. The breakdown of the graduates showed that University of Lagos (UNILAG) top the list with 12 graduates which cut across various disciplines, followed by University of Ibadan with nine of such graduates while one is from Central University College, Accra, Ghana. Speaking at the occasion, Pastor Shade Olukoya, who presented the award praised the graduates for dedication to their academic work and serving God at the same time. According to her, the award was put in place to reward members of MFM who are dedicated to their academic work while also creating time to serve the Almighty God. source: http://mosvinbami.com/2013/04/09/pastor-olukoya-of-mountain-of-fire-gives-n40m-to-first-class-graduates/

Madam you don travel before?? You sound like someone wishing for a White man in the back streets of Lagos
I have come to a realisation that it would be best to marry a white man. Ever since i was younger i always felt this attraction to white men, there is just something so sexy and a lil taboo abt white men that i just cannot get out of my system. But its not only physically but mentally too. White men do not have the same complexes and villager mentality as some of the blk men do. They really know how to make a women feel special and carry their weight around such as helping the lady with chores lovingly, just the way they are also on top of the corporate ladder. The Alpha males. They strive to be the best and they uplift you and empower you instead of insulting and accussing you of feminism. I was watching a youtube video of britpopprinces with her white husband and the way this guy is damn no blk man would do the same as he does. Even white men do not have any mishaps abt blk women wearing weaves or being darker or lighter. They see you for yourself. I guess in the past i was shy to admit it. Scared what would ppl say or think. Scared of the stares etc. So i have missed out on some good white guys in the past because of this plus i thought that all just want blk women for one thing. But things are changing, ppl are different. Dnt judge a person based on hearsay and stereotypes. So women this is now 21st century. Do what you need to do. Date who you want whether white, asian, black, nigerian or non-nigerian. You have only one life to live and be with someone who will make you happy and fit your personality. I love white men and i cannot lie.
|
newloaded: Ever since i got married to my wife things have taken a down-turn in all aspects of my life .I now sleep to have funny dreams, nightmares ;waking up to see different scratches all over my body as opposed to how i was before the wedding .I discovered things have just been falling apart and business arent just picking up.I lost my banking job and my business is at its lowest ebb.So many prophets have pin pointed my woes to my wife ,saying she belongs to the marine kingdom and shes in my life to render me to nothing and thereafter destroy me and signs to confirm this i have witnessed on several occasions. She may be a witch. My friend went through something like that and had to send the woman away. Go to a church like Mountain of Fire. This Saturday 7am they have their monthly Power Must Change hands program. Take your wife there, and let her go for deliverance or run for your life is she refuses. |
