@caribbeanwify I have been following your timeline for a while now. Am really sorry to read about all the stress the lawyer is putting you and your hubby through.

Just stay strong and know all will be well.

If the IHS was not taken during the initial application it means the lawyer filled the IHS form incorrectly. He probably selected a country that doesn't need to pay IHS

To answer your question:

No you dont have to pay the £1,300 again. Just get to the IHS payment point of the new application form, make payment and stop.
You would then forward the new GWF-number and the IHS reference number to the emails they provide you.

- I need to ask you though: have they specifically sent you a mail asking you to pay the IHS? The information i saw someone post is usually sent to people whose denial decision has been overturned during the review phase of appeal

Also, to help you save time. Ask you hubby to mail them since they dont want to communicate with you without his consent. I know you got the consent already but it wont cost anything for him to also mail them

Its really stressful going back and forth for so long.

OMG Thanks so much. The lawyer does not seem to know what I need to do.

I wish I done this application myself the lawyer made so many mistakes. My husband was the one keen on using a lawyer.
the email address on the application is wrong. Tlscontact has the correct email so we received an email that the visa has been send for processing however, the online Visa application has a completely different email.

Question if I start a fresh application do I have to pay the £1300 again?
Thanks so much for your help...

If u are sure u missed the last 2 digits of ur passport number u will be asked to revisit TLs center where u did ur biometrics to correct the error....

"about mentioning just one of you 2 previous refusals"........... Its not a big issue too.... it would have been if u lied about being refused before ....

In the meantime I'd advice u to try reading from pages 1 - 205... it will keep u entertained while u wait ....
Thanks Boss.

Nothing can be done. You have sat the exam, wait for your result.............
Am so sad.
Isnt there somewhere one can send a mail to?

If I get refused based on those mistakes...I can at least show them the mail as proof that I did try to rectify the error.

Am so so unhappy.

Hello Everyone.

Please help:

I made a handful of errors on my settlement visa application.

1. I omitted the last digit of my passport number

2. I have had 2 previous visitor's visit visa refusals but only mentioned one in my application.

*sad*

What can I do to correct these errors as they were not intentional.

I submitted 3 weeks ago and have been experiencing serious nervousness since I realised my mistakes
